Down a wide crystalline shaft, slicked dangerously.

Lyora Inseira, Celebrant of the Scorpion is here, shrouded. She wields an iron nekai in each hand. Overseer Kalaneya Inseira is here, shrouded. She wields spectral psiblade claws in each hand. Lady Hand Lorina, of the August Healer is here, fluid-like motes of effervescent light floating about her form. She wields a coral staff in her left hand. Calesta Ysav'rai, Disciple of Eventide is here. He wields an athame dagger in his left hand. Lady Malicia La'Saet is here. She wields a steel inquisitor rapier in each hand. Baden Inseira, Prelude of the Wyrd is here. He wields a twilight lyre in his left hand and a circular shield of the bumblebee in his right. Maestro Eliron Inseira, Shadowed Cadence is here. He wields a jewelled viola of the setting sun in his left hand. Ser Shuyin is here, shrouded. He wields a blackened justiciar's rapier in each hand. Lady Kelly La'Saet, Marshal of the Dove is here, shrouded. She wields a hallowed rapier wreathed in red flame in each hand. Spirit Warden Xenthos An'Ryshe, the Ebon Strategist is here. He wields a baleful rapier of darkened steel in each hand. Vadi Stormcrow, the Prince towers here, shrouded. He wields an athame dagger in his left hand and a ravenous shield of black in his right. Viynain Erid'in the Wyrden Savant is here, shrouded. He wields an athame dagger in his left hand and a mystic cudgel in his right. Narynth Ysav'rai towers here, shrouded. She wields a wicked rapier of floral resplendence in each hand.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH laugh.gif hahahaha oh my god I'm sure the group was bigger than that at some parts but that was the only one I did QL on.

I just want to give a shout out to my bros monolith sigil, pyramid puzzle, and mandala. Respect. Without you, I would have been so dead.

That was so much fun.

Im tempted to make a Halli alt, however the fact that playing dracs since day one of lusty kinda hardcoded the racial rp into my head. Plus I've like no idea how to rp other races properly D:

We have dracnari too, you know.
Seraku2011-01-31 02:24:40
Well I find the reasoning for a drac to live in hallifax difficult. Maellio manages fine I know, but im sure he has character specific reasons.

We also have Drae, who is wonderful, even if he does not come around much anymore. I miss you, Princess Drae!!

Also, character-specific reasons: this is important! Your character is more than just "I am a dracnari" or whatever other race. Race is a part of personality, not the whole thing. Otherwise it would be very boring!
Ileein2011-01-31 03:05:54
People will probably look at you funny and make snide remarks behind your back (or possibly in front of it), but dracnari can do just fine in Hallifax. Overcoming the inherent weaknesses of their race through submission to the Collective and whatnot.

Or you can just do what I do and completely ignore race and be a lunatic.

It feels so bad to know that someone who has barely got demi for two weeks almost has enough essence as I do.

I wouldn't.

Just glare at aetherspace some more, then go back to what you were doing.
Unknown2011-01-31 04:07:03
It's really to be expected, considering how costs are based on the essence gain from serious aetherhunting. The thought of grinding up 70 million essence for a second tradeskill without aetherhunting is fairly cringe-worthy. Though I cannot personally imagine aetherhunting for more than maybe 3 hours at time, and even that long is boring as all get out. Woo. Sitting. Mostly just watching the pew pews go by. I kind of like slivvening if I'm not on a gun because it's something active to do.
Shamarah2011-01-31 04:27:01
The funny thing about aetherhunting is how ridiculously automation-friendly it is - you don't have to worry about advancing or fleeing or curing or anything like with normal bashing, you can pretty much just turn on your script and go do whatever you want. Even slivvening can be automated fairly easily. It makes you wonder if the admin actually wanted it that way. I mean, they must have realized people were going to automate it and watch TV instead of just sitting there pressing "turret fire" over and over, right?
Daraius2011-01-31 04:28:17
Be careful. The A word summons Eventru.
Unknown2011-01-31 04:35:49
I refuse to not have the window in my sight at all times while aetherhunting.
Unknown2011-01-31 04:36:41
I can testify that no, they did not want that when Aetherspace was being looked at. The aetherspace committe just didn't have the time/resources to make it unautomatable by making things as complex as normal bashing.

Or... Quadruple bashing/Influence XP.

Or... Get rid of TURRET SHOCKWAVE.

(Or... Don't let Romertien suggest ideas after 8 PM. )
Unknown2011-01-31 05:29:54
Actually, nerfing turret shockwave is intriguing.

I'd rather lower aetherbashing experience more.

Getting rid of turret shockwave could be interesting. It'd make it a lot harder to maintain these insane dragon aetherbashes.
