RE: experienced people - while you can only truly improve with practice, there are a multitude of people willing to help give a hand with advice. I don't mind teaching myself.

To all the people who complain about not being motivated lately:

I think I have it all. I feel so motivated that I have too many options and cannot pick what to do. I need suggestions.

Burning rl hatred is good motivation

Indeed. It is fueling my engine that drives me toward success.

Zerg is mean. It crushes my spirit and drives me to despair. Also, I'm tired of these plain old flowers. New ones would be nice.

My suggestion is just to randomly pick a project and start working on it. Don't tell yourself that this one or that one is more important or difficult. Just do one.

I don't mean that to sound snarky or anything. It's just that in my own experience I find it hard to get anything done when I have too many appealing options. Just got to buckle down and focus while you've got the motivation.

What don't people understand about HARD CODED ENEMIES!?!?!? How am I supposed to respond to someone trying to remove the whole purpose of the game?

What don't you understand about dynamic politics?

Dynamic politics tends to make the characters who are very loyal to the ideals of their org (whether real or imagined) staunchly conservative (but not always, of course).

Not to say that is a bad thing.

I meant more along the lines of, "Why do you hate them?" Um, because we're supposed to?

Are we talking about why Hallifax hates Gaudiguch, or something else?

Because I am sure there are quite a few Hallifaxians who could write Omnibuses about the myriad reasons why Gaudiguch and Hallifax can never co-exist, such as the fact that their philosophies in regards to just about every facet of life in the Basin are mutually exclusive. But in short, I guess it could be shortened to "because we are supposed to" since their culture and all is obviously ment to clash with ours. We are as oil and water, we can not seamlessly blend.

If we are not talking about Gaudiguch though, well, ignore this silly post.

It's far easier to show up for things when they're announced weeks in advance. That said, I've been around and just have had little desire to fight. More often than not, it's just general bs that removes much of the fun from combat and produces a stupid atmosphere. Having better players, for instance, but then introducing aeon-spamming angels to the fray. Denying the kill 5 raiders get 20 is simply wrong, but both sides do it. It's quite relieving not to worry about things, and there are far better games for pk. League of Legends is my current game for that, and so far, I can say it's reasonably balanced.

Luckily the game has rich RP and cool people to keep me interested.

Some days I can kill Luminoxes without anything but the occasional beast heal. Some days, I have trouble outsipping them. What's wrong with that?
