I hope they give the list of auction arties tomorrow at the serenade, instead of literally a week from yesterday. That's such a long time!

I know. It's so so cruel to release the artifacts for which I've been holding my breath and then telling me I need to wait and see what joy the auctions may hold... especially since I know that buying anything in the auctions means the other stuff will have to wait just that much longer.

Influencing comptrollers is BS.

Advice please.

1. Comptrollers can be found in the upper four wards (usually; sometimes they wander lower, like JERKS). So, sweep each ward one at a time (including the bridges on ward 4) to be most efficient.
2. They normally will stay out of labs/the University/shops/etc, but they sometimes wander into there. I recommend only checking them if you can't find the last couple after a full sweep of the wards, to save time. However, you should check the Spire of the Lawgivers, because they like to hang out in there.
3. Try to remember where the ones you've already influenced were standing, to avoid having to ask yourself "wait, did I get this one already?" when you're looking for the last handful of them.
4. You need ten. Guess what? There are only ten!
5. Well, sometimes there are nine. It's ok to cry when this happens.
6. All of this applies to custodians of justice as well, except for point 3, because justices will follow you.

I can help with the custodians of justice with my tracking, but I can't track comptrollers since my bond will look for the first one in the area, which has a 9/10 chance of not being the one you want, though I'm willing to try anyway.

Idea: If this is not the comptroller you are looking for, kill it. Then un-enemy yourself.

Alternatively, do initial sweep for comptrollers and get all their ID numbers.

Their ID #s shouldn't change, so perhaps you could get them all and put them in a project...

Amnesty influencing is absolutely ridiculous.

Totally agree! I've been enemied to the kelpies for.. um.. well I've been trying to get unenemied for a year.. like.. real.. year.. through amnesty (thanks to Nydekion) because I refuse to pay a 200,000 gold fine for accidentally killing the wrong kelpie
