Holy 14 second lag, Batman! Not really what I want to face when hunting linked astral guys. ermm.gif My internet has been dropping periodically and getting weird lagspikes lately...hope it's temporary.

EDIT: Lost connection while linked to a node, figured that was the end for me...came back almost dead, but not quite. Somehow I lived through that.

No more hunting for now, I think, though. I will leave the last hour and 20 minutes of double xp day alone. Sigh.

They are! smile.gif I used to want a stormeater as a pet, but then decided that would be a bad idea due to potential targeting mishaps. ninja.gif

A sick feeling ferments throughout your body.
Clouds of sulfurous fumes rise up from the bowels of the earth.
A violent tremor rocks the land, causing the earth to shake and the ground to
buck beneath your feet.
Dust suddenly and painfully gusts into your eyes.
A deep, foreboding hum emanates from the tainted earth, and then you are
suddenly slammed into the ground by an irresistable force.
Dust clouds rise as the earth shifts and sharp rocks slide and bounce, some
flying into the air. You yelp in pain as several of them smash into you,
bruising your flesh and cutting your skin.
The clouds around you thunder and a bolt of lightning strikes Teruelle.
The clouds around you thunder and a bolt of lightning strikes Teruelle.
Fumes rise up from the tainted earth and make you cough. Ugly cankerous sores
break out on your skin, dripping with pus.
As the carillion bells thunder in the air, you are nearly blinded by pain when
an angry cough suddenly wracks your body.

It's worth mentioning that there is a bard damage hit in there, at the very end. Still, that's kind of par these days.

Mag sure has a lot of synergy with plague affs, heh.
Shamarah2010-11-17 05:51:57
Carrionknell does a censor.gif ton of damage if you have any plague afflicts.
Neos2010-11-17 05:55:18
First: censor.gif poison damage, mmkay?
Second: lol at the fact it was five Mags chasing me and only catching me after I passed one of them and had a hard time finding the whirlpool.
Third: lol again at the Mags because they started bringing in reinforcements before us.
Note: As far as I am aware of Ridley was there of their own accord.

Hallifax showed up because help was being requested over Trinity, I imagine. Glomdoring opted to sit on their thumbs, Hallifax decided to risk Celest's slightly-incompetent leadership.

(For future reference: nobody take that risk)

I suppose you know a great deal about leadership.
Furien2010-11-17 06:18:04
Yeah, actually. Certainly enough to know that opting to barrier a room and beckon enemies into it isn't going to work when they have two chaindraggers.

To her credit though, she tried, though everyone died a lot. They even had a nice Greatpent strategy concocted but ... they got wiped. Probably would have been best to just disregard it and fight another day since they couldn't have taken any Supernals down.

P.S: Neos, you ought to join the Trinity clan, it'd help.

There was no leadership. There were not enough capable combatants available in Celest to take on the Mags that came.
Celest:
Me - lol
Naralis - went bard, still needs to work on stuff and he was using AG which was messing up on him.
Faragan - not a seasoned combatant, demi
Dristig - really I think the best person on our side who was present
Elyle - No reflexes
Azula - Second best, but not a leader, demi

No leaders present in that list.
Mag:
Estwald - bard, seasoned combatant, demi
Malarious - monk, demi
Lothringen - bard, seasoned combatant, demi
Teruelle - geo TK, demi
Phalinx - geo TK
Liam - warrior, demi
Ulen - monk

Unknown2010-11-17 06:22:42
Sigh, now I'm extremely disappointed.

Actually I would have prioritized you in experience over Dristig, but I haven't heard of him much.

It could have been won. The Greatpent strategy would have worked alright, but the lack of a unified cross-org channel for everyone but Azula was pretty hampering. Teruelle, Liam, Phalinx and Ulen would have been easier targets and they'd flounder quickly when the group was split up. It would have required some pretty deft action on your part, though, with the meld there.

Who thought Hallifax's power quest was a good idea? I want to stab them in the face.
