Hallifax is pretty awesome 98% of the time.

Though once you try to do something that requires other people in the city to work with you, this quickly changes to:

Note: the above is exaggerated for (comedic, dramatic) effect. I love you all, even when I'm mildly frustrated at such situations.

This is why I tend to fly solo, when I can. It's a lot less frustrating to not expect any help but be pleasantly surprised when people are drawn to help than it is to ask for help and be answered with the sound of chiming crystals and crickets.

Hmm. Our family name was chosen to match the fae language, which is heavy on the apostrophes. (tah'vrai, d'or, f'ai) I think that makes it extra super right, given the context!
