QUOTE (Kolm Cu'Sith @ Nov 4 2010, 08:59 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Ok... just made this account on the forum to reply to this. Not a fan of forums nor writing english in them! (Well... I had other account... but I forgot the password and it is not working to get back!)
Erm... hmm.... first.... RIVIUS YOU ARE DEAD FOR POSTING MY HORRIBLE GRAMMAR AROUND WITHOUT TELL ME!
Yes, I have no idea what is a koan, my english is pretty bad (at least made someone giggle...) and what I said there was just a joke about a phrase I heard in some Bruce Lee movie or whatever while Rivius and I were joking around. No need to start a third world war because of a joke... nor to pretend you're smart saying someone else is trying to be wise and failing miserably when I really did not pretend to be... whatever.
Oh well, since I don't think I'm even going to see the reply because I enter the forum once in a year, good luck with creating your own regurgited koans Kiradawea guy, ask Rivius about ideas, he is good at that
(the band idea seems cool, I play harmonica horribly so we can try to gather some coins around playing on the street... soon we will have enough to buy game credits... buahahahaha)

Actually, your grammar seemed fine to me in that quote.
Next time, I will ask you for your permission, master Kolm. Also, don't worry about your English. It's not bad at all.

Ouch. Hadn't noticed that announce... Yeah, that one and the Gaudi post above does paint a (not so) pretty picture.
Gregori2010-11-05 02:12:10
It's Gaudiguch. Every election there has been for Mayor has ended up with Admin punishment handed out to a certain group of people. This time they seem to have just restarted the election, though the sudden leaving of some members tied to Ama'rua is sort of telling in itself.
Arix2010-11-05 02:13:43

Started out by mention that Sylandra could use an apprentice:
I love Hallifax.
QUOTE
You say to Sylandra, "I'm sure we would have no problem finding a young,
impressionable mind for you to mold to your liking."
Saran tilts his head curiously.
Chancellor Saran Starleaf, Ays Civalior Lyreth says, "Physically?"
You say, "Well, no, not literaly."
Leta Skyplume, Enchantress of the Skies says, "It's true that the brain itself
is quite elastic, but I'm not sure it would fare well when confined to a
particular mold."
Leta sucks thoughtfully on a spunky coral starfish stud.
Chancellor Saran Starleaf, Ays Civalior Lyreth says, "It could be an interesting
experiment."
Lady Sylandra Silverwind, the Morning Gale says, "I would grow impatient, I am
sure."
Chancellor Saran Starleaf, Ays Civalior Lyreth says, "Perhaps reshaping the
brain will improve or reduce various capabilities."
Saran ponders the situation.
You say, "It may indeed."
Amanuensis Aicuthi Shevat says, "So, are any of you volunteering for that
proposition?"
The ghost of a smile passes fleetingly across Aicuthi's lips.
Casilu, State Secretary of Truth asks, "Proposition?"
Saran ponders the situation.
Chancellor Saran Starleaf, Ays Civalior Lyreth says, "I am sure we could assign
some servants for an experiment."
The winds turn icy cold as they rage and shriek.
Anisu Silverwind says to Sylandra, "I just received reasons to rethink our
current educater for our children."
Leta hums a happy tune.
Sylandra glances askance.
Amanuensis Aicuthi Shevat says to Casilu, "Saran's theory of brain modification.
"
A series of chiming notes, distinctly crystalline, ring out in the distance in a
slow, descending scale.
Casilu ponders for a moment and says "Hrm..."
You say, "It would need to someone fairly young, in order to observe the effect
on development of certain areas of brain funciton."
Saran ponders the situation.
Chancellor Saran Starleaf, Ays Civalior Lyreth says, "Do we have any expendable
children?"
Archmage Phoebus Skyplume, Keeper of the Four Winds looks skeptical and says, "I
thought they came that way?"
You ask, "Aren't there some running around the University?"
Sylandra blinks.
A flock of birds passes below the platforms, chattering in excitement among
themselves.
Lady Sylandra Silverwind, the Morning Gale says, "Oh dear."
Chancellor Saran Starleaf, Ays Civalior Lyreth says, "Ah true."
Archmage Phoebus Skyplume, Keeper of the Four Winds says, "Though their brains
not being fully developed yet may be a bit of an unaccounted for variable, so
you might have to use mature adults."
Amanuensis Aicuthi Shevat says, "A viscanti subject may not be ideal."
The last vestiges of midnight shadows flee as Mother Night hides herself from
the luminous arrival of her shining mate as he chases her across the bowl of the
sky.
Saran ponders the situation.
Amanuensis Aicuthi Shevat says, "Variable brain development due to taint
exposure."
Nodding slowly, you say, "True, true."
Chancellor Saran Starleaf, Ays Civalior Lyreth says, "It would be useful if we
could observe the subjects in a secondary reality where the experiment had not
taken place."
Archmage Phoebus Skyplume, Keeper of the Four Winds says, "Generally those in
their thirties are done with their brain development."
The lonely cry of a hunting bird echoes, calling out from somewhere below.
Chancellor Saran Starleaf, Ays Civalior Lyreth says, "Would adolescent work
perhaps."
Phoebus shakes her head.
Leta Skyplume, Enchantress of the Skies says, "Depends on what you're
researching, I would think."
A series of chiming notes, distinctly crystalline, ring out in the distance in a
slow, descending scale.
Chancellor Saran Starleaf, Ays Civalior Lyreth says, "Perhaps we need to find
twins the like."
Chancellor Saran Starleaf, Ays Civalior Lyreth says, "Or the like rather."
Chancellor Saran Starleaf, Ays Civalior Lyreth says, "Performing the
experimentation at early stages and mapping their development."
You say, "That would be helpful, having a control variable like that."
Sunlight glitters on the surrounding buildings, reflecting dizzily off of nearby
spires and mosaics.
Chancellor Saran Starleaf, Ays Civalior Lyreth says, "Triplets or more would
allow for comparison."
Amanuensis Aicuthi Shevat says, "Culturing the centre of reflex action may be
beneficial for improving combat facility."
Amanuensis Aicuthi Shevat says, "Alternatively, that research could be used in
re-education programs."
You nod your head emphatically.
Amanuensis Aicuthi Shevat says, "Though, I do not doubt many of the Collective's
heads work properly more often than not."
Sylandra's eyes sparkle with amusement.
Leta Skyplume, Enchantress of the Skies says, "Well, I shall be paying a visit
to the I'Xiia asylum. If I encounter a patient with a brain we could use, I will
certainly guide him back here."
