And yet they give this response to vacuum bottles:

Divine Charites: We feel that the vacuum seal in this design is not an appropriate technology for
the Lusternian mythos and environs. Thank you.

YOU HAVE MEAT ROBES! ><

Not to mention VACUUMS!

For anyone's comfort, it is now no longer possible to use food commodities (including meat, vegetables, etc.) in new tailoring designs (or possibly any new non-cooking designs). The meat and bacon robes are just grandfathered in.

What's up with that? Maybe I want to put fish-heads in my tailoring designs.

I could make a robe out of merian skin and fish.

laugh.gif Did you try to submit one too, or is that from mine?

I can't look anymore (oh well) but it looks like the comments from yours, Daraius.

It should still be sitting in reject in Skyscribes, eh? Waiting...waiting.

Between a roc and a hard place.
The shadowy outline of a twisted forest casts a dark gloom here.
You see exits leading north and east.

A ha ha.

Yeah, there are a few funny room names out there because of bored builders. There's another room called "between a rock and a hard place" in the Hyfae Caverns, and I seem to remember a very amusing room name in one of the UV tunnels but I can't recall what it is exactly.

EDIT: Oh, how could I have forgotten "Klangratch's Teapot"?

As others have pointed out they are real. Very sad that something like that gets approved.

Why? I mean, it's silly, and none of my characters would ever wear it, but there's nothing inappropriate or OOC about it. Silly isn't against any rule, thank goodness.

How about a bridge over troubled lava?

What's inappropriate about it is that they last more than a day.

The description is pretty explicit, as I recall, about it being raw, untreated meat. At least the bacon ones are using a cured meat.

QUOTE
This rather odd set of robes is sewn from hundreds of pieces of cloth
strips.
Each strip is coloured a dark brown with twin lighter stripes
running down the length. Cut into curvy strips, each piece resembles a
tasty slice of juicy bacon
. All the individual pieces have been sewn
together to form a set of robes, creating the illusion that the wearer
is covered in meat strips.

It's not made with meat at all, unless you're talking about a different description now. In that case, nevermind! laugh.gif
Mirami2011-02-10 03:06:25
There -is- a meat robe out there, with raw meat.

It was there when Mirami was a tailor, which was almost 2 RL years ago. Design... 7,000-something, if I remember right. Maybe an early 8,000.
Rika2011-02-10 03:07:20
pungent meat great robes

These robes are a surreal creation indeed, being woven entirely of raw
animal meat
. A thinly-sliced flap of ham has been stitched on for the
hood, while the main mass of the robes is formed from squishy hunks of
bloody red beef secured in places with silk thread. Ornamentation is
provided by strips of bacon on the cuffs and hem, marbled white with
fat. The sash of the robe is a slippery loop of unidentifiable
intestine, and there are even crude pockets on its inside lining to
provide useful, albeit greasy storage space.

I thought there was another one, though.
