It was never instant, but it was power free for at least a couple of months until Bau (I think) nerfed it. That was sure an unpopular decision. I think summon was free too though, that was annoying, considering it took a while before we had those shields that prevented you from being summoned out of orgs. Or into guards.

On the minus side, we didn't have teleport nexus for a bit. "Anyone with/at Mother?" was constant spam on CT for a while.

I remember when Summon wasn't in Planar, and instead (some of)you got it inside your primary skill.

I remember when there were no monks...

I also remember when I was one of the only ones who used old aethercraft....

and when the BT gwho, seeing more than 5 people was a lot and unheard of. (still sorta true on some days)

Ugh remember when aethercraft came out, and no one used it for awhile, then they introduced specialized path that utterly killed it!

What else...I remember the Seren/Celest war, Raziela Event...Uhh, a time before Phantasms...When Celest Merians were OP...

I remember when Malicia was Serenguard.

I remember when Aesyra got demigodhood.

I remember when there were no guild, city, or commune leaders.

There was always a Summon in Planar but there was also a demesne summon which was insane and eventually removed.

I remember when Auseklis slapped Seren for trying to protect nature, using his famous words 'Nature's been taking care of itself just fine since long before you mortals came along.'

I remember that, too, and I still tell people that same thing when they cry about hibernation and strip harvesting.

I remember when someone picked the very last sparkleberry, though, and we needed Divine (and coder) intervention to bring back the herb!

I remember when Elostian was in Celest.

It also went through prismatic shield and pretty much everything else. People had to throw monoliths ahead of them to walk around. And wisp traps, remember those? I still think of those every time I go into Weirdottir Tailoring.

Omg, I loved the Plague. Celest had setup a quarantine area...It was so funny. A new person would come in and run through the area and contaminate the cleaned people...It would start all over again.

I remember when Estarra was still Dynara, and used to play hide-and-seek with us in our creches... She used to be really mean and hide outside the creche.

Mean.

But, it did teach us: Life is not fair!

I remember a ton of events happening while I was a rogue, and as such, I just heard...insanity go around me, without being a part of it really.
I remember having a lot of cartel slots for designs, then getting them sliced down again, and then again, and then go back up when mortal review came out.
I remember some really nice Celestian talking to me when I was little who was a demigod, and she made a statue of me in Dairuchi, then told me how our city/commune were at war O_o

I remember when the Celestines used to require some of their advanced students to spend a year in Serenwilde telling the barbarians how barbaric they were.
