Maybe it's because I've just read through from the previous Day, but didn't Casilu and Vendetta both mentioned that we should be looking at Gleip closely? The fact that Vendetta turned out town and that Casilu's claim as Fudge sounds plausible, I think we should look into this.
So far, he's been pretty quiet since the start of Day 2. It's been two days since Day 2 started, and all he's said so far is something that Casilu already said, and that he'll be posting less often.

He did mention he was working a lot lately.

I can confirm that indeed, Gleip is doing something I never thought possible. He's working.

But, if I am correct, he should be showing up around sunday at the latest.

Man, this game is really claim happy early on. Not really sure if some of you are scum trying to false claim, bored, or what. I skimmed all of the pages up to this point again, and honestly the people I'm still suspicious of also happened to vote Vendetta for a lynch. There's only one person alive that I can trust besides myself right now. What to do, what to do...
Ileein2010-12-17 14:07:55
I do think at some point we ought to have a look at Gleip. He's been right before in his antagonisation (is that a word?) but it's always better to be sure.

It's certainly worth noting that Solanis says he roleblocked Trinit, however, it does seem that we have a few weird roleblock-like powers floating around out there, so I'm not entirely convinced that's worth condemning him over. Trinit's claimed power, too, seems a little too weird of a power to just make up, and seems to fit with the style of the other powers we've heard of so far, so that helps too. However...
Has anyone else been given information on if Night 0 is odd or even? No I'm not asking you to reveal your power! I just want to clear this up so I can get a better sense of who to be suspicious of. I am, as usual, very conflicted, and feeling kind of lame about not having anything to add besides what basically amounts to "I dunno lol".

It does seem weird, I would think night zero would be even as well personally, or clarified with the Moderator. While yes, zero is.. zero, one is an odd number so it would make most sense that way. So it's a lie or a misunderstanding.
I'm heading to bed now though if conversation picks up, maybe I wont sleep away half a day again.

Ok. So deadline. If no one else is going to speak up, then I have to say that honestly I'm suspicious of Solanis! Even after it has been revealed that we clearly have multiple roleblockers, he is rather aggressive about the idea that his roleblock against Trinit is what stopped the kill last night. He practically forced Trinit to roleclaim, and then kept his vote on him regardless. It's been bugging me! So I guess my question is: Solanis, do you have any reason to vote for him despite that you roleblocked him, with no confirmation on if your block did anything or not?

And a potentially temporary Vote: Solanis for good measure.

No, he's basically grasping at straws to force someone into being lynched.
Not really looking to OMGUS vote here, but I could really be lynched by other people's inactivity.

Hrm. Although Gleip was the one who pushed for Vendetta's lynch, Vendetta voted for Solanis the previous Night. On top of that, he was the third to vote for Vendetta, and on top of that, he voted without any reason.
While I would like to investigate Gleip more, seeing as he's not around, and that we've got a deadline, I'd like to hear some more from Solanis.

Actually, I'd say my rather oblivious sensor managed to pick up a small blip from Solanis as well. On one hand, it's risky to call a roleblocker under suspicion. To falsely claim roleblock is pretty ballsy because it has great opportunity for backfiring - what were the chances that Trinit would have something that'd actually support Solanis' possible justified 'roleblock'? What if Trinit had been a mediocre townsie like Vendetta, he could've just been all, "Wtf, I'm completely ordinary, there was nothing to block, you're bsing and clearly scum".
At the same time, that possibility is covered by the fact that if indeed Solanis was bluffing, he knew there was another roleblocker out there, who DID block correctly, so had Trinit being a completely harmless townie, Solanis could claim "Oh I didn't know there was another roleblocker, I just knew I was and I thought I was the one who saved Fudge."
It's actually pretty clever in that if it was a bluff, it effectively called a Power and another possible Roleblocker out into the open.
Solanis also seemed pretty intent on pushing for Trinit. Now that could be a very legit faith in his own intervention on the attempted assassination, but his reasoning was never laid out very clear. After Trinit called a pretty obscure(odd power to make up) power, Solanis jumped onto the debate of Day 0 being even or not. Lilia's confusion over the odd or even was immediately used to back up the assertion that Trinit was lying, even though Lilia made it pretty clear later that she wasn't saying she knew for a fact that Day 0 was even, or that she even had an even power, just that she was under the iimpression that Day 0 was even. This clarification was ignored by Solanis who continued to phrase his responses as if Lilia established that Day 0 was even, and then attempted to dismiss Trinit's explanation by saying his mention of 'win-conditions' made his entire comment not worth reading.
I don't know Solanis, maybe you're just not a talkative kind but your posts have been pretty stubborn on Trinit and evasive in terms of justification or counterarguments.

My intentions were not to merely force him to roleclaim.
The fact of the matter is I roleblocked him last night, and there was no scum kill. That's a solid reason. Yes, it's not really enough to fully justify a lynch, but that's the best lead I have at the moment. We're kind of lacking in information (and activity) in this game.
You don't normally get confirmation on whether a roleblock did anything.
Unknown2010-12-19 08:09:06
I thought the current lack of activity was because we were all waiting for Gleip? I know that was why I was waiting.
Hrm, while I agree that in your shoes, I would have been suspicious of Trinit at the start as well. However, when there was another roleblocker in the game who targeted one of the more suspicious-looking person in the game (Gleip), the fact that you roleblocked Trinit and that there was no death was no longer as solid a reason as I'd like. Especially since we've got Casilu's 'bet' with Gleip. That's certainly a possible lead there that you've ignored.

First of all. The other roleblocker claimed to roleblock you last night. So if I'm lying, that makes it even more likely that -you- are the scum who attempted to carry out the nightkill and was prevented from doing so. If you're not the scum... well, that reasoning is out the window, isn't it?

I suggest you go back and read it again. I did not ignore the clarification. Something (I don't know what) caused Lilia to question whether Day 0 counted as even. Trinit replied,

See. I wasn't the one who said it.
What you've said in that paragraph is kind of explaining what I did (and not even accurately), and you didn't explain -why- that was scummy in the first place.

Yeah, I agree. Consider these possible things:
1: Mafia can only kill on certain nights. Since some of our powers can only happen on even or odd nights, this is plausible.
2: I did nothing, and you blocked this nothing.
3: You're lying about roleblocking me.
4: There was another roleblocker who blocked the kill/killer.
Any and all of these are plausible alternatives to your idea, especially #3 considering how aggressive you've been.

I sure wish you would make up your mind about what you think is a scum tell. Being roleblocked and someone not dying doesn't make that blocked person scummy.
