Yeah, I agree. Consider these possible things:

1: Mafia can only kill on certain nights. Since some of our powers can only happen on even or odd nights, this is plausible.
2: I did nothing, and you blocked this nothing.
3: You're lying about roleblocking me.
4: There was another roleblocker who blocked the kill/killer.

Any and all of these are plausible alternatives to your idea, especially #3 considering how aggressive you've been.

Considering no 1: That's plausible, but highly unlikely. Really, one mafia kill every two nights?

Activity in day 2 is so low. I'm going all-out because it livens the game up.

QUOTE (Trinit @ Dec 19 2010, 07:11 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I sure wish you would make up your mind about what you think is a scum tell. Being roleblocked and someone not dying doesn't make that blocked person scummy.

It makes you suspicious, i.e. scummy.

Yes, if you knew for a 100% certainty someone was going to die, and that I targetted that person. You blocked me, the killer was also blocked, you're trying to pin it on me.

For all I know, you didn't block anyone.

@Solanis: You've not addressed my question about why you think Gleip is not considered a lead.
Unknown2010-12-19 08:18:41
@Trinit: Yeah, number 1 is highly unlikely. Also, there was an attempt at Fudge's life, so unless there is an SK around, that's very unlikely.

He's a suspect because he was very aggressive yesterday against a person who ended up being town. But I felt that his analysis had merit, and besides that, I haven't seen much other scum tells (besides him being full of angery anger).

And right now, well, it looks like it's Solanis vs Trinit (and co) race before the deadline ends.

So, basically you're against the Ministry?

And according to your logic, you'll be a suspect tomorrow if I'm lynched. Care to answer on that?

I never said that, did I? Nice random aggro.

And, of course, given my focus of you, of course I'll be a suspect tomorrow if you are lynched and are town. I don't think so, though.
Trinit2010-12-19 08:29:46
Lol. you said, "Solanis vs Trinit And Co", and seeing as I'm with the Ministry.... yeah. Slip of the tongue or not, it was funny.

1. First of all. The other roleblocker claimed to roleblock you last night. So if I'm lying, that makes it even more likely that -you- are the scum who attempted to carry out the nightkill and was prevented from doing so. If you're not the scum... well, that reasoning is out the window, isn't it?

2. What you've said in that paragraph is kind of explaining what I did (and not even accurately), and you didn't explain -why- that was scummy in the first place.

1. Well....damn. I totally forgot about. All I can do is shrug and say, well, maybe actually whatever roleblockers out there did nothing and instead a doctor got to him, or, and I say this very carefully because I'm not trying to create another whirlwind of speculation, just possibly, Ileein might be bluffing roleblocking. I'm not going to elaborate because there's discussion enough on the current people in the spotlight.

2) I just meant that it was scummy because for me, at least, your posts came across as pushing for Trinit with pretty little elaboration, and sometimes it seemed like you were trying to discredit others' comments with a reply that seemed to pacify the reasoning but really just blew it off. To me, that sounds like scum making a bluff and trying to brute force it through - as in you can't give many reasons for why you remain suspicious because it's difficult to fabricate a sincere sounding line of reasoning.

3) As for Gleip, I'm on the fence about him for also more reasons, it's just that for now, I think we have a very real clash between two figures that should be settled, unfortunately probably by a lynch. Not that it would settle things well though, possible outcomes might be:

a) Trinit telling truth, lynched: We lose a healthy townie that might have a small personal agenda, but at least is not true-blue scum. What it reflects on Solanis is poor judgement at the minimum, scum bluff at the maximum.
cool.gif Trinit lying, turns out to be scum: Yay Solanis! You're awesome!
c) Solanis lynched: turns out an actual roleblocker = Trinit remains under suspicion
d) Solanis lynched: Turns out scum = Trinit you're off the hook more.
e) They're both innocent and by focusing on either of them we're losing! D: What to do, what to do.

Except... that you're not with the Ministry.

Can you quote me any examples in which I discredited others' comments without really explaining why?
Unknown2010-12-19 08:50:40
Now both of you are being entirely suspicious.

@Trinit: A big what? to the 'Solanis vs Trinit (and co)' thing. That was totally random and overly-defensive point to make.

@Solanis: How come you're so sure of that? Do you have an investigate power as well? I couldn't discern his alignment simply from what you've given us, so unless you've been holding back information, this is a really weird claim to make as well.
Feyrll2010-12-19 08:56:07
WAIT PEOPLE I GOT IT

BOTH ILEEN AND SOLANIS BLUFFED ROLEBLOCKER, SO EITHER WAY ONE OF THEM IS SAFE FROM SUSPICION UNTIL THE END OF THE GAME.

/obnoxious caplocks born from sleep-deprived mania. Yea I'm gone until tomorrow.

Muffle muffle muffle.
Unknown2010-12-19 09:00:36
Oh, btw, this is pretty much war between me and Trinit, so those sitting on the fence, choose a side! Not allowed to bystand and shirk responsibility!
Trinit2010-12-19 09:12:29
Really dislike claims, but I'm going to go ahead with this. Solanis, why don't you tell us who you are, and what your powers are since you're supposedly a roleblocker?

Also, let me throw this out to the rest of you. I'm not going to say to vote for Solanis, make up your own mind about that. But with my power, I can guard Fudge (Casilu) every even night including the next night, and basically guard or check another person of our choice. I really can't do much about odd nights and Casilu's protection, and I don't know how I'd arrange to check someone else, whether I would announce the day before who I was checking in case I died that night or couldn't post the next morning, but it's something we can work out. IF I don't get lynched.
Casilu2010-12-19 09:18:35
This is going to be fun. I wasn't leaning towards Trinit but after that exchange, I just might have to before the deadline.
Trinit2010-12-19 09:23:01
Leaning towards voting for me, or leaning towards my way and against Solanis?
Ssaliss2010-12-19 09:26:25
Personally I'm supportive of Trinit, mostly because his power and role matches so well. Which means that either A) he's telling the truth, or cool.gif he knows a whole lot more about HP than he lets on. We'll see how Solanis claims though, before I vote...

Anyone can easily match power and roles well. It's not a great reason.

I'll claim after the people who are writing up a post finish.
