Considering that it might be way too easy to predict the Midnight Crew that way, I doubt it would actually factor into the decision-making. But I don't know! Mine doesn't seem to correspond that well... then again, considering I hadn't heard about either the Felt or the Midnight Crew before today, there might be some backwards logic here somewhere.

I considered that myself for a while, but I don't think (nor hope) Casilu is quite that predictable. The only thought I've got so far is that there's one MC in each suit. Although that'd kinda suck for Clubs Deuce... although there _is_ a two of clubs around. Hmm.

Meh, I'm done pretending we can understand Casilu. I'm going to wait until everyone else posts.

Probably for the best. I'm a complete and total MSPA nerd (if you didn't notice already ) and even I'm having trouble trying to predict what she has up her sleeve...

Conclusion:
Being a Joker makes Arix the one who stands out among the rest of us. The small room for scum to roleclaim would be beneficial for townies. However, Casilu is Casilu, and I don't rely too much on the above information. But on Day 1, with no other information to go by, that's all we've got, so I'm taking this information with a huge dollop of salt.

4 scum in a game of 15 seems hard to swallow for the sake of balance but I'd rather ire on the side of caution and assume 4 until something says otherwise.

Yes, that did occur to me, which was why I said 'likely' to be four mafia. I'm actually expecting more like 3 mafia with some cute story to explain why the fourth scum isn't playing.

It might be five! We don't know if Shadow Mobster Kingpin is in this or not. He was technically a member of the Midnight Crew, if we're not strictly on Homestuck canon. Considering Comb Raves can be used, that shows we do have some of the Problem Sleuth universe incorporated...

In restrospect, trying to puzzle this out with information that approaches zero asymptotically from the positive side is really bad for one's health, especially vis a vis the presence or absence of a headache.
