Rika: How (why) does the Evidence, prove Othero is Innocent?
Your logic, as far as I can tell, goes something like this:
-Romertien and Caerulo Investigated Othero (fact)
-(No warrant)
-Therefore, Othero is Innocent. (claim)
You're missing a step in the logical argumentation above.

What if it was just an outside job? We go through this whole thing, each one of us convinced of our own innocence and trusting no one else, and after all the blood washes away, it turns out that it was never any of us after all. Maybe it was...A GHOST. WooOoooOo.
Just making a dumb comment while I try to figure out what I'm doing in terms of a vote. You're all getting so defensive and paranoid that it is hilarious, but at the same time it's making it hard to pick out which one stands out as being most suspicious.

Because your evidence is too loose at the moment. I really miss how I'm some sort of good vote when I've been honest and upfront on my powers. You keep going "but you bought anger management books so you must be a killer!". Why not vote Tekora then? Tekora bought D&D, meaning she is a satanist, and an obvious killer.
Or your evidence still doesn't make sense and is too loose to pin anything on me.

To build off of that, Romertien might want to go back and look at diamondais' role, too. The more I've thought about it, the less I think that using role flavour in this game as your primary leverage will work to your advantage in this game. It would be much more helpful (and useful) to look for typical scum signs and use what actual information we have available.
Has everyone Othero called so far been home while they've been out? If there's anyone left who can go out and about during the night, maybe Othero should call them so that we can confirm. If we know people are staying at home at nights, with certainty, then that is useful information we can use. If they can go out for a while, come back, and still receive the call, however, that isn't so useful. If he can get a missed call at some point, maybe we'll figure it out.
And er, did Phoebus learn anything about Caerulo? I swore she tried to diagnose him or whatever.

Oh, okay. So Caerulo is accident prone and needs to store more arnica in his rift. Maybe he's a carpenter?
Tekora brought up an interesting point about Rika starting the No Lynch vote. Who all voted for No Lynch, and did anyone vote on and off for it over time, or did everyone stick with it until it was pushed through?

I started the no lynch, yes. When the discussion looked like it had died down and Gleip had warned us that if nothing happens in 24 hours, we'd lose a random townie, I went with the Othero train just to get more information. Once we got that, I felt I could trust him so went with no lynch again.

@Vendetta: With regards to as to whether Othero's power checks out:
I've already asked twice about this, once last Day, and once more again:
Unvote Vote Tekora
You're not listening, twisting my words, and being stupidly aggressive. I don't investigate everyone in town. I'm just told if they did or didn't leave home at night. The only person who didn't leave home last night was Diamondias, like I said. I don't target anyone. I just call everyone and if they're home they answer. It's as useful as every other skill we seem to have. It isn't as if I know what people are out doing. I've already explained all of this and you're just deciding that I have some OP skill that tells me everything about everyone.
The only piece of info I got last night was that Diamondias stayed home and everyone else didn't. Like I said in one of my first posts.
That's interesting, because Rika and Vendetta both claimed they did not do anything last night either.
Also, that's not what you said in your first post.
Both times, he simply ignores the question.
Also, he claims that Phoebus was out at night, Phoebus said she didn't do anything at night, but no one claimed that they targeted her.

@Rika: Why would the fact that both Romertien and I investigated be suspicious? I have no idea who other people are going to target at Night, and hence I targeted who I felt was scummiest to me.
Now, I find Tekora to be suspicious as well, but to me, Othero is scummier.
Whilen Othero's power checked for today, what about yesterday? Also, can you clarify why buying thigs from me and Romertien mean that he is town?
@Othero: How about the fact that Rika and Vendetta both did not use their night powers on Night 0 but you did not detect them?

Honestly? I don't really know. I wasn't given info back on them. Though Vendetta didn't say that he didn't do anything the first night, just that nothing happened. So I don't really know what they were doing those nights but as far as I know they were not home.
Though I'm sure this doesn't matter. This is the 10th time or so that I've explained my power and someone is still going to mess it all up. Lets spend another couple pages going back and forth on how I've got to be a killer because of books or something when we've got people who've either gone insane, Tekora, or have stayed silent through this.

I'm kind of leaning towards Romertien at the moment, just because I'm not crazy about the whole "guilty until proven innocent" vibe. If that keeps up, she'll have a quick ticket to the lynch train eventually, once it gets a townie or two killed.

Why? His method of arguing things as irrefutable fact based on people's purchases and flimsy logic is kind of really annoying. We obviously have to piece together information from a lot of sources here and try to make an informed decision, not just go U MAD SO U KILL OMG It just seems suspiciously pushy, and overly determined to convince us that one person is scum based on a few things that hint at their not being the most stable person, even though we've had confirmed town members with violent pasts and tendencies to invade personal property.

Still don't like him. Everything I said yesterday still applies, and now he's managed to derail my efforts to have him lynched by jumping on Rika's push for a No Lynch vote which has screwed the town over by costing us a direct investigator. Now he doesn't want Phoebus DIAGNOSING him for some reason. That gives me plenty of reason to want to have Phoebus do just that.
So, Diagnose Othero.

Ok, Rika. You're going to help me out on this one, because I'm fairly sure you voted for me, then declared FoS on anyone who still has a vote on me... so apparently you're calling FoS on yourself. That's a farkup of epic proportions if I've ever seen one. No calm and collected person would mix their words up that badly, which screams that you're hiding something to me. That's basic psychology. People get nervous and mess up when they're nervous, and you're obviously nervous for some reason.
Your 'facts' (Protip: It wasn't me that said that Vendetta stayed home, that was Othero, as well as your defense of Othero by declaring his innocence with absolutely no proof) are COMPLETELY wrong to the point that I'm now convinced that you're trying to misguide us on purpose and your attempts to discredit me are laughable. You're obviously trying to get rid of me for pointing out that while Othero supported you, you yourself were the one who STARTED the No Lynch vote yesterday.

When did I ever say anything about people's purchases? When did I ever claim something about someone without directly quoting or citing something they said?
WHERE IN ANY OF MY POSTS HAVE I EVER BASED ANY DECISION OR CONCLUSION ON ANYTHING OTHER THAN HARD FACT?!
When I play Mafia, I don't do anything without having solid, quotable evidence to back it up. The fact that you're coming up with this argument OUT OF NOWHERE with absolutely NOTHING to back you up tells me that you're either throwing at the wall to see if it sticks, or you're purposefully trying to discredit me before I spot a mistake that you make, just like I pointed out Rika's mistake.
STOP PAYING ATTENTION TO THE GAME'S FLAVOR. START PAYING ATTENTION TO PEOPLE'S MANNERISMS. Mafia is about PSYCHOLOGY, not DOUBLE GUESSING THE MOD!

Well, if I die, I hope all y'all take another look at Rika and/or Othero, because something is borked with their logic.
That being said, though, I'd prefer a better logical defense for Othero than 'He was investigated, therefore he is innocent', when the investigations show as much scumminess as we've seen out of investigations thus far (Rage control books, calling strangers in the middle of the night, violent video games...).
It's not a 'guilty until proven innocent' view so much as 'the evidence points to guilty' sort of view, and I haven't seen a reason that said evidence supports innocence. The most I've gotten out of Rika is that because we investigated Othero, he's innocent, and I've asked a few times now for clarification, and gotten little beyond 'it's flavour, so it doesn't matter'. Which I don't buy.
At this point, I can run with Othero being innocent. What I can't run with, is the logic used to back it up. Hence why my vote is on Rika, and not Othero.
Also, @Vendetta-- I'm assuming that I 'go out' during the night to look at the books (I doubt I bring my shop's records home with me). So, if we want to use that as a test of Othero's powers, go for it. I'm planning on checking Rika's shopping history (Bringing those I've checked to Tekora, Othero, Rika), assuming she and I are both alive.
