I'd rather Ironbeard. I can find a gnome every once in a while, but I am not getting this artifact love other people are getting. Lucky people!

Are they just anywhere? Outdoors only? I've canvassed everywhere as fast as I could, no gnomes. I didn't have nearly this bad of luck for the arti bandits.

Seems to be anywhere...I keep missing the jingle line, so I get a bad start. I've seen them in the mountains, and I heard they were on the roads. Places I found them in were general areas, though outdoors. I only found three so far though, so I'm not a good person to ask!

Well you need to get a gnome first, I hope they last after the 25th because else won't be getting anything

Far as I know, they can show up in any area that doesn't enemy you (so no prison, hives, inner sea, etc.). Also, it's not just you! Seems pretty clear that they have boosted the prizes while significantly lowering the number of gnomes. Even the people who are "cleaning up" at this point seem to have gotten only a couple of presents per drop they have been around for. (As opposed to last year, where people will get several presents in a go!)

Also, requesting to keep this a cheerful thread. Let people be happy they have stumbled upon goodies and save the bitterness for rants tweets or something.

They can wander into any area on prime, including cities, seas, hives.

And the drop amounts are the same as last year.

Found two presents in the last round, one was an arti and the other I gave to my brother.

The #1 spot most people turn to is the mountains, but you have to be quick, otherwise you'll just be searching in the wake of other people's dust. If you're not there within 10 seconds of the notice then forget about it. I think bards with milestones have a huge advantage.

Next good spots are the seas and the areas connected to them, just because there are so many rooms and it's a bit less visited.

But even I don't know all the good spots, it looks like there's still more tricks to this gnome-hunting biz!

I personally only managed to nab gnomes at off-peak times out of complete and utter luck! I don't know secret gnome spots. I just run around like a maniac. It's the same skill that gets my good scores in hamster hunts. Craziness-fueled runnin'. If I knew the spots I'd be an efficient lunatic, which is the best sort. But I use all my gifts so far to make presents for other people too. I am the flower-giver! The painting-maker! The palette-hander-outer! No one is safe from my gifts muahaha

I kope I find a gnome, I didn't get visited by Ironbeard
