I found a gnome in a shop in Gaudiguch. All it gave me was pocketbelts though, and the pocketbelts were filled to the brim with rope.

Clearly, the gnomes are telling me to become more Gaudiguchan and start selling my services as a dom escort.

Or they may be telling you to hang yourself. Or fake the suicides of others. dunno.gif

Whistling loudly for your magic carpet, it quickly flies into the room with you before coming to a
complete halt.

You reach out and touch a magic carpet.
As you touch a magic carpet, it rolls itself up tightly before floating into your hands.

Little things like this make me love the magic carpet. I never would have gotten it otherwise, since it is so damn expensive, and not especially useful to me. But I am certainly keeping it. Thanks, gnomes!

You quickly unwrap a twinkling white present, which sprays glittering silver
dust and cheerful confetti into the air, and excitedly pull an iron goblet from
within.

I found four this last drop, and in my usual custom, gave half away.

You say, "Even Miakoda wants in." (she sent me tell with a number XD)
You say, "Closest is Elornoria!"
Enyalida says, "Pssshhhh...
"You say, "My number was 73!"
Rika Talnara, of the Wistful Rhythm says, "Yay Elornoria!"
Miakoda, Maiden of the Moonhart's eyes twinkle enchantingly.
Sondayga snaps his fingers.
Enyalida gives a trillingly melodic laugh.
Rika Talnara, of the Wistful Rhythm laughingly says, "I was going to pick 72 but decided that was too high!"
You say to Elornoria, "Pick a number between one and four."
Keeper Enyalida Zayah says, "Going to toooosha."
Enyalida turns her attention towards you as her ears perk up in interest.
Rika Talnara, of the Wistful Rhythm says to Miakoda, Maiden of the Moonhart, "Do you have any ideas where gnomes might like to wander?"
Rivius flaps his arms madly.
Rivius lifts a hand languidly and sends a moonbeam off to the distance.
Elornoria tells you, "Umm 3."
Sondayga's ears perk up as his attention turns towards Miakoda, Maiden of the Moonhart.
Miakoda, Maiden of the Moonhart frowns at Sondayga.
A wry smile spreads across Enyalida's face.
Miakoda, Maiden of the Moonhart shakes her head.
You give a twinkling white present to Elornoria, Pure Chime.
Sondayga Zayah, Heir of Ellindel says to Miakoda, Maiden of the Moonhart, "I explored Frostica ealier."
Rika snaps her fingers.
Keeper Enyalida Zayah says, "Perhaps I'll find one."
Enyalida ponders for a moment and says "Hrm..."
You say, "Unwrap! Unwrap!"
Elornoria quickly unwraps a twinkling white present, which sprays glittering silver dust and cheerful confetti into the air, and excitedly pulls a dagger of reincarnation from within.

Probably not going to find that many gnomes again, but it was nice XD

The gift I gave away had a clay flowerpot in it... one of the few artifacts I don't have yet. biggrin.gif

I retract my statement, the gnomes love me:

You quickly unwrap a twinkling white present, which sprays glittering silver dust and cheerful
confetti into the air, and excitedly pull a golden paintbrush from within.

Lyria quickly unwraps a twinkling white present, which sprays glittering silver dust and cheerful confetti into the air, and excitedly pulls a golden paintbrush from within.

"Oooooooooh!" Lyria says, eyes wide with wonder.

"Wow!" you exclaim!

You say, "Hope I don't get pocketbelts."

(BlackStar): Lyria says, "Fabulous. That's two hundred credits. <3."

You notice movement out of the corner of your eye and turn to see Milla the Peppermint Kitten nudging a large sign into place. "Ask me about wares!" is scrawled upon it in bold letters.

Archmage Lyria Valtyros, Crimson Tongue crosses her fingers.

You quickly unwrap a twinkling white present, which sprays glittering silver dust and cheerful confetti into the air, and excitedly pull a pocketbelt, a pocketbelt, and a pocketbelt from within.

I should stop giving away presents.

Not to be mean, but you really should. :\\

It doesn't require any skill to find gnomes...let everyone find their own. It's actually fun.

Unless you accidentally run into a village your enemies to and die. *bicker*

I'm sure it is, if you find gnomes. If you run around looking like crazy immediately after every drop you're around for, going so far as to set puzzle points for it, and still have nothing to show for it, it quickly becomes annoying.

Nah, I got a few too. After I got artifacts. I think the gnomes are trying to tell me to share more, but when I look in the belts, I can hardly complain.

It would be nice if a gnome was just silently released somewhere every X amount of time, in addition to the big drops. The world message is like dumping a bucket of blood in a shark tank.

I've been collecting empty present boxes. I'm going to have my own Solstice gift giveaway after the gnomes are gone for good. happy.gif
