Wounding/burst vessels don't seem to be curing for me. Is the best course of action to back up all my scripts, make a new Mudlet profile, and test to see if it was the old profile/something in my coding overlapping with something in yours? That's entirely possible.
I guess my question here is... should I be needing to hit wounds periodically/apply healing manually to get m&m to kick in for wounding, and diag periodically for vessels? It won't cure at all if I don't, from what I've noticed. Furthermore, should I preclot for vessels?
Will post some logs when I get home, if that'd help.

Just chiming in to say I occasionally have issues with this as well.

Sometimes it's unavoidable, I mean warriors versus mages... but I die from behead nearly every time, and I mean I can tank vessels but even so, once I get up to 10 I'm screwed.

Nah, I mean checking wounds and seeing that they're obviously not being cured, or vessels not being paid attention to unless I diagnose constantly. Not just dying.

Email me a log and I'll look at it. No, you don't need to manually apply, but checking wounds (with wf) from time to time would be beneficial since everyone gives different amounts of them and the system has to guess in a range how much did they give.

OK, I know this has been done before. Looking to setup beast command plugin with my attack DOR. I had it once correctly configured, but then my hard drive went and I had to recode everything from scratch. Never bothered to re-configure.
Anyway... my basic hunting DOR looks like:
Wanna add the beast BOR command attack line before my actual DOR attack. I understand how BO and BOR works... though can't seem to add it into this script. For some reason I don't get any output when I place:
Suggestions?

Check the error log, what does it say when you try it?
Janalon2011-04-24 03:49:24
Nothing in the error log. Here is a capture of my output:
Not seeing the beast attack when on beast balance. Which brings me to the issue... this may be how I am set to recognize balance. I have the following battle beast lines:
The first is an exact match, with the others as LUA lines.
CODE
(m&m): Beastmastery repeat disabled; will repeat 'beast order attack wasp' forever.
kata perform wasp hunt1 hunt1 hunt2
(m&m): Do-Repeat enabled; will repeat kata perform wasp hunt2 forever.
kata perform wasp hunt2
You attempt the Kata form of hunt1.
* ka nekai wasp left
Slashing viciously at a giant wasp, you rend him with a nightmarish nekai of morbid oddity.
You have scored a CRITICAL hit!
* ka nekai wasp right
A nightmarish nekai of morbid oddity hits nothing but air as you swing it at a giant wasp.
Your momentum increases.

Those are regex triggers, not Lua functions. If you have them set as Lua functions, they'll never match.

Oops. Sorry. I did mean perl regex lines.

Perhaps it thinks you're off balance, then? Check out display(mmba.balance)

How do I disable the green affs window? I've disabled to code for it, but it still shows up. I just deleted it last time, but it seems odd that you have to go that far.

Once you delete the code to create it, you have to restart the profile or Mudlet, since it's already been created.

Yeah, I now, but the same should happen when I turn it off and then restart, and it doesn't.
Vadi2011-04-24 20:39:07
or hideWindow("blahblah") will do it too.
Lilia2011-04-24 20:44:35
Or put your chat window over it, like I did. As long as m&m is the first script folder, everything else goes on top of it.
Sylphas2011-04-24 20:49:54
Getting rid of it isn't the issue, I can make that happen easily enough. I'm just wondering why turning it off and restarting doesn't do the trick.
Vadi2011-04-24 22:07:48
It does do the trick. Perhaps you didn't actually 'disable' it? (many ways to do that... disabling the script isn't one of them though)

That's what I'm curious about. If you deactivate the script and save the profile, it shouldn't be created when you run it again. Or so I would assume.
On a totally other note, is there an easy way to run a script without restarting Mudlet? I can edit functions and such in them on the fly, but things like editing a table that it initializes requires a restart so it reads the whole thing.
