I played since Open Beta. Druken started in Serenwilde as a Moondancer, and then I went more or less dormant until the Glomdoring event started. A short time later, I was hanging out with the Shadowdancers. The rest is history!

I've had many many characters in Lusternia. Crylia (who was my neighbor at the time) pulled me away from the black hole that is Achaea, and I started an ur'Guard character that I played for a while. I eventually got bored (since I was like... 12 at the time I think) and went dormant for a while. I came back soon after the Glomdoring event, made a crap ton of alts in almost every org, then settled as Ryld in the Aquamancers for a LOOONG long time. Hanging out with awesome people like Doman (yes, I mean Doman), Wuylinfe, Shamarah, Vesar, Shysheia (probably butchered her name) and a few others whom I don't remember. Then I got into World of Warcraft and didn't come back for a LOOONG time, until I made Havastus! And here I am!

I'd still be using my old forum IDs and stuff... But I don't remember the passwords to any of them. Such is life!

I believe Ialie was one of those, though she didn't stay that long.

If my absentminded guess at what age I picked for Mael was, then I started somewhere in Aug-Sep 2005 (I know I got in before Return of Isune that Oct in any case). Started as a furrikin shadowdancer for reasons I can't even recall...

I started playing a couple of months after open beta (I think. The character is long since poofed) on a faeling moondancer. It was a lot of fun, but my BF at the time preferred Achaea and I wanted to continue to play with him. I grew bored with Achaea and took a year long break from MUDS, then came back and made Eliron a little over three years ago and here I still am.

I think I started maybe a week or so into Open Beta. Came from a brief stint in Achaea. Had a lot of fun in Lusty but I was very, very naive about things. Quit in a huff and left muds all together. Tried MKO for a while but I don't care for the direction they are going with it. Decided to come back here and hang out a bit with an old friend. I'm having fun again and I'd like to think I've mellowed out. Old age and therapy will do that to you.

I did have a character in open beta, but the game confused me and the lack of anyone to help me anywhere chased me away so I came back with Arix when the game was more polished. I regret not keeping that character, I apparently missed out on a lot of craziness and the ability to really tell those 'back in my day' stories I love so much

Couple days into open beta here. Same character, same org, but I've been bounding between Moondancer, Hartstone, and Spiritsingers.

I'd have saved SO many credits if we skillflex in beta. This is the third or fourth time I've been trans Healing and Hexes.

Been playing since about June 2005, first character was Kylecat (later changed to Kear due to the Fates). I was 11 at the time. She was a merian Aquamancer. I've had a lot of different characters over the years, but always stuck with merian Aquamancer until I made the switch with Aeral to go aslaran. I've been known namely as Kear (no family, though I had plans with one Flarin to make a family), Lunarisi Starleaf, Kayte Luminare, and lately Aeral Ama'nar'isil. I haven't kept any of my former characters, and I regret not keeping the original though she was banned due to me not being old enough to play! Have had a few other characters along the way but most didn't last. Missed a lot though because I was younger and more interested in RP, and I regret not having known everything that the veterans around me do. Even though I've been playing for a decent amount of time, this year was my first event, the first time I really paid attention to ascension, the first time I really went aetherhunting, and when I left last year it was right before Hallifax and Gaudiguch came out! I stopped playing Kayte in November 2009, so I come back May 2010 and enter Gaudiguch, Hallifax! Such a change in Lusternia's RP and player base.

tl;dr : I've been around a while, but I was also a kid, so I'm glad I stuck around to enjoy and learn about Lusternia more now that I'm older.
