I remember playing Duke Nukem 3D when it was released. The Shrink Ray was awesome...

I'll believe them, when I actually see a copy of it delivered to me personally, by flying pigs.

My earliest memory of this game was when I was around 9 years old and I was a subscriber to Nintendo Power. It was on the user voted "most anticipated" list for a long, long time. I didn't even know what Duke Nukem was.

Yeah, according to the official trailer on youtube, they're even him to chuck norris. Then again, maybe they're mostly fan boys or guys wanting a piece of high testosterone level gameplay.

They would sell more games if they just replaced the character with Chuck Norris and rebranded it. Duke Nukem is just kind of a joke at this point, may as well take it all the way.

I wouldn't say I'm a fanboy but I'm looking forward to this. Duke 3D came out when I was a junior in high school and my friends and I got a lot of play from it.

To be honest, this will either be like Daikatana or it will be like Team Fortress 2. It's hard to say, it depends on how polished the game play was.

I agree with this statement. I think the developers of DN are going to have to deal with riots and whatnot if the game comes out unpolished, unfinished or any amount of even minor mistakes.

I mean, granted Starcraft II didn't get release til 12 years later but they had their reasons (aka delays and other projects).
