Aeral looks at Tacita as another one of the typical silent Glomdorians. An ally, they've fought beside each other, and while Aeral is trying to embrace the relations with the dark forest more now, she still doesn't fully understand the people there. They are a very mysterious people, Aeral finds, and therefore Aeral knows little about them, including anything about Tacita.

I wonder what people think of regnilolo.

Edit: Regnilolo is fond of everyone in the nekotai. and misses his mentor janalon.
Astraea2011-06-22 18:49:30
Astraea thinks Regnilolo is downright weird. Like really weird. But in a, "I want to watch and still maintain an aura of regality while staying quiet and hidden and very much amused." sort of way.
Diamondais2011-06-22 18:55:34
Dylara rather likes Astraea, as a mother-in-law and as a part of the family even before (well, sort of, yay bannering). Makes her feel happy that there's someone like that around.

Oh?
Astraea2011-06-22 19:14:59
Yeah, Regnilolo is odd to Astraea. Especially the way he talks. She finds him very....well. Weird. Then again, Astraea finds a lot of people strange. She is a Nightshade, after all.
vorld2011-06-22 19:20:03
Ah well regnilolo doesn't really know astraea well but would like to.

People seem to have skipped over you, so I'll say something.

As his counterpart in the Aquamancers, Krackenor views Aeral as he views all magi: a potential source for joint elemental scholasticism. Although personal interaction between the two of them has been very scarce, all reports and observations point to her as being less rabid and fanatical than many of her predecessors and hopes that she is one who actually places study and research over petty politics.

As for Zayden, Krackenor has never met him. As an Illithoid, however, he would be held to a certain standard of decorum and knowledge should he be discovered. This knowledge may be violently imparted.

Oh Krackhead. Casilu's third husband was always the shy and quiet sort. She kind of thought when he was the head of the family, he could have been in a bit over his head, but she thought with her help, he would be fine. Another great moment was when Casilu convinced him that he was insane because well... he is. She may have divorced him when she left Magnagora, but she likes to think they're still sort of friends.

Casilu is Phoebus' best friend, for better or worse. Mostly, their relationship consists of Phoebus attempting to get Casilu to behave, and Casilu misbehaving just to drive Phoebus nuts. Despite their rather antagonistic dynamic, Phoebus still sees her as an intelligent individual who feels obligated to act the fool for fear of not being taken seriously should she be sincere. She tries to be a source of encouragement, and wishes to see her friend follow through on the many good ideas she has, but never finishes.

Also, there are lots of puns.
Druken2011-06-22 21:05:23
Druken met Phoebus during his fateful sojourn in the city of Hallifax (which he has since chosen to forget with the False Memory). He considered her to be relatively flamboyant, but harmless all the same. He doesn't usually like being around people with that much energy, but in Phoebus's case, it was usually intelligent and creative energy, which redeemed her in Druken's eyes.

When he left, he forgot everyone he met in Hallifax, so Druken's present perceptions of Phoebus are nonexistent.
Tacita2011-06-22 21:29:15
Tacita is intimidated by her uncle Druken. It is not without reason that she calls him scary-Uncle behind his back. To her, Druken represents all of the poise and grace of the Inseira family that she's never been all that sure she possesses. He is the only person around whom she actively tries to curb her tendency to be a little odd. She doesn't seek his praise because she is too scared of being rebuffed.

I just wanted to say that this made me giggle.

Lyora used to see Tacita as her sweet cousin but since getting married, sees less of her and is unsure of their relationship.

I remember when Lyora was a member of the BT. She has always been one of those people that just makes me smile a bit just to see online.

Llesvelt never really knew Ayisdra all that much. For some time, Ayisdra was a name amidst others in service to the Collective, which instantly made zir many times more likeable than any number of foreign barbarians. The last Llesvelt heard about Ayisdra, ze has appearantly become a Druid, a situation that saddens Llesvelt. He likewise thinks it is simply preposterous that a shard of Xyl would take up that path, and it angers him somewhat.

EDIT: Appearantly, I already did one of these about Ayisdra, way back. Oh well, perceptions change.
Ushaara2011-06-23 14:41:15
Llesvelt is one of Ushaara's oldest friends, and a person he always enjoys talking to (even if somewhere along the line we've turned into two gossipy old men). His devotion to Cririk Adom is unparalleled, and public appearance wise, he is a paragon of what a Company officer is expected to be. Someone who always knows his role, duties, and their boundaries, this trait is hugely refreshing, and I don't believe we have ever had a disagreement. Beneath his xenophobic exterior is the heart of a poet, something he should do more of!
Daraius2011-06-23 15:43:08
Daraius finds Ushaara to be a perfect gentleman who has always been unfailingly friendly. He smiles like all the time, but Daraius doesn't really read facial expressions so it doesn't strike him as unnatural (even though it is for a lucidian!). Although he doesn't write a ton for the library or stage, what he does is good, and Daraius really admires that Ushaara follows through with his commitments in spite of dreadfully long absences. It was always a point of regret that the La'Saets snatched him up before the Shevats got him. But there are always other methods of acquisiton. suspicious.gif

(ignore for thread purposes)

Yeah, I'm the worst cold, analytic lucidian ever.

Tsianina2011-06-23 16:18:44
Tsianina wishes she could find better ways to express her respect for Daraius's work, but always feels bad about her complete lack of understanding of or appreciation for most of it. (She can recite all the reasons why Art is equal to Science in importance, and believes them, but when she looks at art in any form, she always feels like there's a big secret no one let her in on.) Thus, to Tsianina, Daraius is a comrade worthy of the highest appreciation, and yet at the same time, he makes her profoundly uncomfortable because he's a walking symbol of everything about Hallifax she doesn't feel part of and doesn't get.
