Given that it was Dong Zhou and the Emperor Xian that ordered her away, I doubt they're related to the Yellow Turbans. Assuming that she was of the Yellow Turbans, although that will become apparent soon enough.

Ok, thinking a bit here. So, does this mean that there are multiple scum groups, or that the scum don't even know who each other are? Or perhaps this was something else entirely? Maybe someone who is a little more familiar with the theme could make some connections here, because I know next to nothing about it and I'm not sure exactly how surprised I should be about bad guys killing bad guys. Halp? I've been in pretty much a perpetual state of confusion since this game started.
Well, it's possible we've got a dayvig that issues imperial orders to go kill themselves. That dayvig might (or might not) be a neutral faction that don't need to be killed for the rest of us to win. I've got no clue about Dong Zhou though (since I've not really read those novels and only sporadically played the game).

Ok, this really changes things up so I'll go ahead and WITHDRAW FORCES FROM RIKA for now, until things settle down.

Quick, dirty summary of the Dynasty Warriors games as according to Wikipedia. I'm just trying to get a sense of what the win conditions are in light of this info.
I don't think the Yellow Turbans and Dong Zhuo were connected in any meaningful way (obviously, seeing as how Zhuo just killed the presumed rebel leader), so it does look like there would be two scum groups who don't know about each other...maybe one daykills and one nightkills? Zhuo appears to present a threat to the Han, since he 'usurps state power and starts a reign of terror', according to Wikipedia again.
I'm wondering what made them take out Casilu though. The only thing she did was duel Xikue and lose. Will have to look again to see if she sicced her army on Xikue though, I don't remember.

I can't really see anything that Casilu did that would make her a target either. Like you said, the only thing she did was duel someone and lose. Maybe that's more significant than it seems? Or maybe it has absolutely nothing to do with it. I'm just trying to think of anything, here.

Casilu proposed the duel, but I won. I wasn't getting any super-scummy vibes from her. Although Casilu's odd and difficult to read, so it's not saying much. I'm not sure what made her so threatening that she had to be dispatched on day one.
Forgot if I did this already, but I'll give the order to WITHDRAW FORCES FROM CASILU.

Huh, unable to sign on for a couple hours, confusion ahoy!
Guess we're waiting on Tekora to confirm some things?

The details about Casilus role, I think. Too bad I'll be asleep then
Dynami2011-02-18 22:56:24
Wow, if that was a day kill, someone made a really lucky pick!
Ssaliss2011-02-18 22:57:33
Yeah. The first thing I checked was to see if Kira was in this game too She's got a knack for those things.
Mirami2011-02-18 23:08:46
That clearly wasn't death-by-duel, so definitely a daykill. And, given that there weren't any clear scum-vibes coming off of Casilu (besides doing a duel?), I'm inclined to believe SK with a daykill. (Possibly the Lu Biu fellow Llesvelt was talking about? If I'm understanding the information I'm getting off of Google correctly, it would fit...)
Casilu2011-02-18 23:11:45
Random daykills on day one ALWAYS hit scum on the Lusternia forums. ALWAYS.
Shamarah2011-02-18 23:22:37
What really surprises me is that it seems very likely that whoever used the daykill probably has a large or unlimited supply of them or they probably wouldn't have blown it on day 1. Daykills are usually a one-shot affair in most games, since if the unlimited dayvig claims they can essentially give the town a second lynch every day for as long as they're alive (not that I'm advocating that our dayvig claim, at least not yet).

Maybe they had some way of knowing that Casilu was scum? A daykill out of nowhere on day one that takes out scum, especially in a game of this size, is pretty surprising (and confusing). I guess we won't know if it was a one-time thing or what unless it happens again.
Shamarah2011-02-18 23:31:30
Any form of vigilante with any form of investigative ability is pretty roflcopter, so... almost certainly not.
Arix2011-02-18 23:58:08
What the happened to Casilu?

Promise it wasn't me this time. I didn't use any psychic abilities either. No-sire.
Sylandra2011-02-19 01:32:35
So ok, we can guess that 1) there's someone with a daykill who wants to kill scum and 2) they are likely in cahoots with someone who is investigative in nature. Yes? No?
Or the 2nd person isn't there and someone is just really lucky. That too.
