Riding forward, Solanis rushes out and wastes no time in hurling insults at Phoebus. Having already suffered the humiliation of denying a duel, Phoebus does not stand for it and rides out to answer the challenge.

The two generals clash in the middle of the battlefield without even taking time to formally declare their intentions. The bout lasts for several dozen rounds, with Phoebus slowly wearing down Solanis. Finally, just as Phoebus is about to land the coup de grace, Arix arrives and blocks Phoebus' blow, allowing Solanis time to disengage. Phoebus attempts to pursue them both, but like the figurative rabbit, she catches neither. But, she is victorious, nonetheless.

Phoebus' Vote counts double for the rest of the day.

Solanis has been rescued by Arix and suffers no ill effects.

So, did either of you get any information out of that?

Arix, did you get told it was me when we duelled? Just to see if it's a definite thing or a chance-based thing.

I'm gonna wait until everyone checks in on this duel to see what to do next.

Another thought about the game though...since Lu Bu's condition was to take out the three faction leaders (Romertien, Rika, and myself), I am inclined to think that Dong Zhuo's condition might be similar. Which means that since I've claimed, we might be in a lynch or lose for today (unless someone happens to be a nightvig, I guess).

Our likely suspects so far I believe are:
Phoebus (weird ability)
Solanis (nothing to back up claim)
Caerulo (same)

Considering we've lost two people some nights, there has to be another nightvig somewhere.

I don't think we're in a lynch or lose. The daykills seem to be happening every other day, so tomorrow should be safe still, assuming there aren't any other parties out there with nightkills who have the same goal. Basically, I think we just need to concentrate on NOT killing Sun Quan (you!), because that might be bad times all around.

I can't really say anything about my being suspicious. I know I have kind of a weird role, but I feel like I've been pretty forward about it.

So if it's random, it's at least high-odds. Which makes me almost sure that either Phoebus or Solanis is among the guilty. The question is who among them is the guilty part... Neither of them have good alibis, after all. Phoebus have nothing, and Solanis only have a message that can be intercepted. Gut-feeling says Solanis for reasons I can't explain, while logic seems to point towards Phoebus for having the slightly weaker alibi. Hrm.

Gave it a bit of thought, and given that my gut-feeling hasn't been very good to me (sorry Razenth and Shamarah ), I'm going for Phoebus this time.
