Arix protected Tekora, but someone got to him first apparently
Diamondais2011-04-01 10:35:46
I was writing something, but I misread Kira's opening post for today, for those who may notice me in the editor.
Gleip2011-04-01 10:36:50
Perhaps protection didn't work if someone tripped Tekora's bodyguard? Scum may have felt bold enough to target Ssaliss now that Casilu, a watcher, is dead. What I find odd is that there were two kills this night, and only one last night. Did Arath get targetted twice last night perhaps
Ssaliss2011-04-01 10:56:52
Well, let's settle this once and for all.

Arath, did you die from a nightkill or did you die from your ability being used? What, if anything, did you learn from your ability?
Ssaliss2011-04-01 11:02:53
Oh, and two other things.

A) Elena, whoever you are, you have my permission to use your power.

B) Tekora could not have killed anyone. Stolen powers are oneshot, and since he used his bloody claw to voteblock, he couldn't use it as a nightkill.
Ileein2011-04-01 11:12:12
Maybe it was something to do with targetting of bodyguards, then? Or the same person was targetted last night/two nights ago, or a doctor successfully protected a target last night/two nights ago. :/
Ilyssa2011-04-01 12:32:43
The firey flavour text for that makes me look very suspicious. :I
And I'm willing to point it out and am open to any questioning.

Razenth was not a scum revive, at least, given that little blue town tag under his character's portrait.
Kalaneya2011-04-01 13:16:04
So. This is a summary post because a lot has already happened today (for me at least).

(person will die for --> other person)

Tekora, Razenth --> Ssaliss
Silferras --> Tekora

Is that about right?

The easiest conclusion is that for some reason, Ssaliss was targeted twice, which means once by scum (presumably) and once by someone else (perhaps some crazy alternate win condition?), which killed both of his bodyguards. However, this is complicated by Silferras, who should be dying for Tekora. This could mean that Silferras was roleblocked, protected, or Tekora was killed through defenses.

Either way, there looks to be 3 nightkills out there: scum, Elena (via Bloody Claw...at least that's what it sounds like in Casilu's death post), and some other guy. The reason for me thinking there's another guy out there is that I don't think Elena killed Razenth, since the Ssaliss didn't give her permission to use her abilities until today.
Kalaneya2011-04-01 13:40:37
Meh, that should read as, I don't think Elena killed Razenth or Tekora. Sorry, I had the post structured differently before I started messing with it.
Ileein2011-04-01 20:13:34
Wait, wasn't Elena the person Casilu had to give permission, but then the permission lapsed when Casilu died? Or am I just confused?

Didn't he say he was lying about that? He kept all the cards. All of them.

Huh? I don't have anything in my notes that relates you with fire, did I miss something?

He kept the cards until he used them, yes. He didn't use the Chariot card until he used it against Casilu.
Arath2011-04-01 22:27:42
I can inform you that I did in no way harm myself through the use of my powers. My statement was merely the accurate prediction that my actions would call our enemies to focus upon me, essentially forcing them to waste a night upon a target who would not yield as easily as they hoped.

Speaking of which, you may return my Revelation at any time Ileein-Kimi. The very same with the Transmigragem.
Ileein2011-04-01 22:31:21
I can't, all I can do is use it. (I know I've got the Revelation of the Gods, but the Transmigragem?) I've been fairly leery of doing so until now, due to vague and non-specific threats of possible consequences, but if doing so will allow me to transfer it to you, I'll go ahead and open it. Lemme clarify with the mod.
Arath2011-04-01 23:52:45
It was Ilyssa-kimi who stole my Transmigragem from me. And the book is not for thine eyes kimi. You will hand it back to me, lest I be forced to take it from you by force, as I require it to tear the veil of illusions.

O sorceress clad in the flames of hell... Let thy fiery incarnation bear its fangs. Razenth!

My dayblock looks like that, and is potentially fatal to undine. And I didn't snatch the gem, I just kind of acquired it. :I

Wretched souls pounding at Hell's gate... It is I who hold the key!

Also, what bitch cursed me
Unknown2011-04-02 06:26:13
Hmm. That's Necro Gate I guess?
Unknown2011-04-02 06:28:54
Yeah.
