Yggdra Union: Justice lies in the holy sword!

Its effect isn't nearly as dramatic as it sounds.

Kiradawea will show us soon enough!
Kiradawea2011-04-02 06:59:03
Shamarah tries to incant a phrase to activate his card, but halfway into it, he succumbs to a coughing fit, ruining the spell.
Gleip2011-04-02 20:32:17
Okay, so Shamarah is cursed, so his Necrogate, whatever it was supposed to do, failed. Makes sense... Cursed was a 50% action failure wasn't it?

And Ileein said that it would contact Kira for some clarification, but Kira was here already, and still no Ileein. Since Arath claims he needs the book to use his power, I'll be doing some pressure.

Vote: Ileein.

Oops, sorry guys. So, I opened the Revelation of the Gods and was given an invocation I could make and a warning to use it wisely. And apparently I can give the thing away now. So,

give the Revelation of the Gods to Arath or whatever

The invocation reads like a roleblock or a daykill (the last part is "return all to nothing," and it takes a target). I can use it only during the day, and it's a oneshot.
Shamarah2011-04-02 22:17:26
Well that's dumb and lame.

Um. So, you mean you couldn't give it away until you used it, or you didn't figure out how to pass it on until you did?
Kiradawea2011-04-03 12:06:27
D'oh. Forgot this.

Caerulo raises a staff into the air, and a spiritual shield immediately springs up around Ssaliss to protect him from harm.

Ssaliss is protected from harm

My understanding is that the former was the case.

Wait, so you read the book, got a use of 367's spellcard and then you could suddenly give the book back to Arath? Something is very off about that. Vote stays while I ask Kira how handing over items work.
Diamondais2011-04-03 21:35:20
Oh, I am back from my trip. I totally forgot to check in on this thread. (didn't show up in my unread doh.gif )

Ah. I am 367, so having a use of the spellcard isn't particularly strange (how do you know it's 367's, by the way? flavor?), I imagine. And all I know is what I've got, dude. :/

So.. what's happening now?
Ilyssa2011-04-04 15:45:59
Arath, what do you gain from me giving this Transmigragem back?
Gleip2011-04-04 16:10:52
Kay. I'll just be sticking to Ileein. I asked Kira, and she notified me all I had to do to hand over the item to someone was to give her some indication for it. Any kind of indication. Didn't have to do a thing with it. So her story, that she had to open the book beforehand, doesn't check out with me.
Unknown2011-04-04 18:12:46
Did Arath actually get his book thing back yet?

I am pretty sure the only thing I can do with it is open it. The vague warning about consequences has prevented me from doing so thus far. If no information is forthcoming by next Day I may give it a shot.

You said that a while back. I'm wondering what made you decide to open it, given whatever consequences you were informed of (also curious about those), rather than just handing the book to Arath, or even Arix, who was asking for it.
Arath2011-04-04 20:23:01
I have indeed had my book returned to me yes. And no, I do not know if the Transmigragem will do anything in particular for me, though it may have an effect upon my reincarnation, though if so, it is not to my knowledge.
Unknown2011-04-04 23:46:37
I wonder if Llesvelt has any particular opinions on the matter.
Unknown2011-04-04 23:55:55
Lilia too, for that matter.
