On what matter?

Llesvelt is mainly staying quiet because he has nothing to add, and is not completely sure what is going on at this very moment. Llesvelt finds it all somewhat confusing.

You said that a while back. I'm wondering what made you decide to open it, given whatever consequences you were informed of (also curious about those), rather than just handing the book to Arath, or even Arix, who was asking for it.

I wasn't informed of any consequences. It was all very shadowy and mysterious. However, when I came to the conclusion that it was hold onto it and do nothing or use it and hand it over to a person who's supposed to make use of it, the latter choice (while riskier) was also the most potentially beneficial. I suspect Arath receives some sort of extra power while holding it or after using it.
Ileein2011-04-05 03:03:46
Meant to put this in my last post:
Afterwards, Kiradawea said some threatening things about making sure I don't ever get half of the votes I need to be lynched, or else the aforementioned consequences would be invoked. This was linked with some flavor involving the sanity/mental breakdown of my character.
Diamondais2011-04-05 09:30:16
Well, that could mean bad things for the town. Not willing to test that out any time soon.

Only if we're willing to absolutely, positively trust Ileein from here on out.

If we wait for too long and face up to needing to lynch him if he gets really scummy, then we'll still have to face whatever happens when too many votes pile on him. And if that happens when town's numbers are thinning out, that could be very bad indeed. My guess would be that it's some sort of lynch bomb, in which case, the best courses of action may be:

1. Expect Elena to take care of him tonight. Ssaliss did give her permission at the start of the day, right?

2. Use whatever combination of people we can come up with to minimise chance of death for those voting on Ileein. Or make people we're thinking might be scummy vote.

Or if someone has a better idea, we could consider that too.
Ssaliss2011-04-05 15:43:51
I did give Elena permission, yes.
Arath2011-04-05 19:44:28
Though I am not advocating the use of violence, there would also be an option to inflict burns upon Ileein-kimi. As shown earlier, the burns did prevent Razent-kimi from using his ability. Or perhaps there is someone around who could use his or her power today to help Elena-kimi with her job. Mayhaps this would prevent whatever offensive action Ileein-kimi has in store? Personally, I find the whole deal very suspect.

As it appears we are moving nowhere fast, may I propose that we consider lynching one who has not been active in the discussion thus far, such as perchance Shamarah-kimi or Ushaara-kimi, assuming we will leave 367-kimi to her own designs for now.

I'm in agreeance with that.
Ilyssa2011-04-06 14:47:54
So we're leaving Arix/Razenth and Caerulo alone for now, then?
Ilyssa2011-04-06 14:48:56
And between Ushaara and Shamarah, I'd suspect the latter more, since I expected him to be a bit more active than he has been.

Considering Razenth is dead, I'd say leave him alone. tongue.gif

Arix and Caerulo appear to be protectors, so again, I think that's cause for leaving them alone as well. If we're going for lynch-a-lurker, Shamarah is tied for number of posts with a guy that's been dead for a day, which isn't such a great sign. Ushaara we don't know much about. I think he hammered Razenth's death on day 1, though...possibly while drunk, which makes me not sure if this is suspicious or not.
Kalaneya2011-04-06 17:49:30
Wow, that last sentence isn't that coherent, but I hope the gist comes through. Also, Phoebus is tied with Ushaara on number of posts made. She already revealed herself to be Gulcasa, who appears to be a fairly major character so maybe there's flavour reason for keeping her around. Casilu as Zliva (town) was connected to her in some way, so I'm less inclined to think that she's scum.
Arix2011-04-07 00:30:01
Sorry Arix hasn't been around, he had an exhausting weekend and then proceeded to forget he was in a mafia game tongue.gif
Unknown2011-04-07 00:56:29
I don't particularly feel like Ushaara is any more suspect than Shamarah, or vice-versa.

I'm quite against pestering either Caerulo or Arix unless their behaviour turns suspect, though. They were strange earlier because having two doctors didn't seem likely, but with two nightvigs revealed, two apparent scum killers, and whatever Ileein's Judgment Zero might do, it's looking like two doctors is a pretty sensible town set up. So much death in this game...

I was wondering when someone was going to mention me! I haven't posted at all today. This game hasn't really been holding my interest, since there are just too many powers and items and whatever that it's sort of getting in the way of everything, in my opinion.

As for a flavor reason to keep me around, well, I can't help you there; I think that would have been giving my permission for Casilu to use her power, but she got dead before she even could. My only power involves sacrificing someone else to use it, and I don't really think that's worth it. So I'm just kind of sitting here wishing I had something to do.

Actually, it looks like I read my power wrong, since both parts of it are squished together on the same line I didn't even notice the sacrifice was an optional power up kind of thing. Without using that apparently it seems like my power just makes my vote stronger.
Ushaara2011-04-07 10:03:56
Sorry, I posted in the absence thread but forgot to say here. My laptop has kicked the bucket so I don't have easy access to internet outside of work. If you do decide to lynch lurkers it may as well be me as when I do check in I don't really have time to analyze posts and would just be bandwagon-ing. I do try check in every day though, just won't always post.

Though I have no qualms in stating I win with town. I have already revealed that I'm a person who's looking for an item, but have no idea on how to acquire it or what happens if I do. I'll also state that I can only use my card during the day.

Regarding me nailing the day 1 lynch on Razenth, yeah that was me hungover. Looking back I was never convinced, but voted because it seemed to be the general consensus and had Ssaliss' endorsement.
Ushaara2011-04-07 10:16:42
Actually, I may as well say where my suspicions lie while I'm here. They're toward Silferras, spiked by what I read as her putting an easy 'diversionary' FoS on me when I suggested lynching lurkers back when we were still in limbo on the Casilu/Tekora and Arix/Carulo issue, and then there is the confusion on her saying she was Milanor's bodyguard and him still dying. Not conclusive in any way obviously, but not just a knee-jerk reaction to the FoS from her either.

So with that, Vote: Silferras.
Unknown2011-04-07 11:39:27
How was that diversionary? I had way better targets to focus on at the time, and it was just a way to say that I felt you were being suspiciously diversionary yourself (diverting from the discussion and trying to force it back to lynching lurkers).
