I have a question that I wish all of you who voted on me to answer. On what grounds did you consider myself suspect? I do personally consider my behaviour thus far to have been impeccable, so I am genuinely curious.

I have a feeling Vendetta is up to something, so I don't quite want to seal the deal on that lynch.

Hrm. Indeed. It may be that she is what is commonly referred to as a "bomb" namely someone whom brings down the one who kills them. If you worry about such, I could certainly place the last vote. After all, I am not allowed to die.

Okay. Rereading the day today, these are my current thoughts.

Vendetta is scum. She is not a serial killer, she is not a jester, she is not a third part in any way. She is a clever player pulling a clever trick on us to try and divert our attention away from the real scum, as buying them only two more days or so might be enough to give them victory.

As I was reading the day, it struck me how easy Solanis and Arix jumped on Arath. But getting Arath lynched was never Vendetta's plan. The plan was to give the appearance of wanting Arath lynched, so the crowd would jump on those who entered that train. While odd, and the possibility of being third-parters is certainly present, I don't think they're scum. Scum would organize themselves better.

Lilia is likely scum. For someone who spent most of the game quietly saying she doesn't grasp much and who claim to constantly worry, she was the first to actually take a forceful stand against Vendetta's obvious trap.

I'm getting similar vibes from Kalaneya. It's harder to explain, but her desire to proclaim that flavour doesn't mean much when Arath claims that the similarity between him getting struck with thunder and Vendetta having Angelic Thunder may not mean much makes me edgy. Not on that argument, but because she pulled in Ilyssa as not neccessarily scum despite the firey deaths. The problem here is that no one was being suspicious about Ilyssa, or had really done anything to link the deaths to her.

I also get vibes from Dia and Phoebus. Dia for so strongly protecting Vendetta, and Phoebus for the nonsense, but as Kira would say "that's standard behaviour".

One last thought. It may be that Arath and Vendetta are on a scum team together. Vendetta's crusade against Arath would never win through, as the average player isn't that stupid, and once it becomes clear that Vendetta is scum, it would suggest that Arath clearly wouldn't be a scum. The only trouble with this is Arath's reincarnation, but we really only got his word that he didn't activate that himself.

Ilyssa brought it up herself. Thought I should just point out to give what I was saying about Thunder some context. Bad idea?

It'd be logical to say that as a cover early on, especially if it's something we're bound to figure out sooner or later. Then again, it'd be logical to point it out as a townie as well. Personally I don't put much value in her pointing it out that early.

I was mainly talking about all the different powers. I can tell when someone's trying to get themselves lynched, even if I don't understand why.

It depends. Either way, mafia is all about conflict and persuasion, and stuff like this is fun to play off of and watch.

The heavens and earth clash as Yggdra's army march against Marietta. The fight is long and difficult, as Marietta's wily claims spreads the seed of doubt and uncertainty through Yggdra's forces, but eventually she falls under the constant onslaught. Her dying scream echoes across the battlefield, sending chills as the Liberation Army and leaving them wondering if they have done something truly terrible.

Vendetta was Marietta.
