Oh well. Truth be told, Gaudiguch isn't at its best so it's a bit of a pointless victory anyway.
I think it was more that we wanted to see the conflict quest in action.
I think we had just over 20? The numbers fluctuated between the raids.

Just a heads up, your quest is so bugged its hilarious.
All the fleshpots ressed 10 minutes after being turned in. It was brought up on envoys and they were divine rekilled, but the divine did not fix them to attack the butterflies. Or... if math was right... they would have lost their drachou 13 hours from hand in (which has passed). So congrats, not only did the quest bug, you are going to be screwed out of "city victory" by dropping the opposing nexus questee thing.
Yes, I am bitter.... killing fleshpots was my idea and it worked perfectly, I wanted to see results.

It wasn't 'brought up on envoys', but rather fixed as soon as someone logged in and was aware of it. They weren't 'divine rekilled', they simply were not resetting to the proper location. Similarly, the fleshpots were all seriously bugged and died quit a bit more easily than they were supposed to. Likewise, when we were attempting to determine if the problem with Operation Crucible or player error, not one envoy was able to supply the name of the person who allegedly turned them in, nor the name of anyone present so that we could determine what happened.
We still don't know what happened. Worse, a bug with any detail on the situation beyond 'we kill fleshpots dead and quest no worky' wasn't filed until 15 GMT, about 8 hours after they were killed (and quit some time after we came to the presumption it was player error, added a few safe-guards to keep it from occurring in such a manner and went to sleep).
So, frankly, if you wish to point the finger at someone, look to the people who didn't file bugs, or one-sentence bugs inexplicably barren of any usable detail just prior to logging out.
Likewise, I'm a bit appalled that fleshpots died in less than a minute (the average space of time between fleshpot deaths was about 60 seconds, with some as low as 30), yet there's not been a single bug expressing concern over the fact they clearly weren't functioning properly, nor performing their room-wide attacks, healing, etc.
Instead you're far too busy on the forums bemoaning the situation -- not even having filed a single bug on any of the points you've brought up (despite the fact it's 'so bugged it' hilarious').
Honestly, the fact that half of the bugs, substance or otherwise, are from Gaudiguch players speaks volumes, doesn't it. In fact, a total of 7 bugs were filed over the entire affair (8, if you count one regarding karma gains for rezzing fleshpots), from a whole of 4 people.
Four people, none of whom are people posting here, going on about the bugs.
(I did all that without once pointing out that bugs are not to be posted to the forums nor discussed on them!)
"Too long, didn't read" version:
Get off it. Learn to bug, get off the topic, and a nominal reminder you really shouldn't post about bugs on the forums.
(Edit: I should note that I'm certainly not unsympathetic, and obviously would have greatly preferred nothing been bugged. However up until twenty minutes ago we operated on the presumption of there being player error involved (still likely was, though of a different sort) as had everything been done appropriately, Crucible itself would not have been bugged - we think). It will all hopefully be fixed soon, however.)
(Edit #2: To pre-empt, "Someone else said they bugged" is no excuse. I think everyone would far prefer we have 100 people bug the same problem in their own perspective with as much detail as possible than 100 people whine about a bug on the forums, while a whole 1 person bugs it with sub-par quality and minimal information.)

I still want a scent/scan/whatever quote so I have a good idea how many people were on each side. Heck, if someone could even put up a whole log, that'd be sweet.

Glom had a total of three people. No idea if anyone from Celest showed up.
I'm curious about how quickly the night avatars went down now, if Rika is right in saying they needed less people than for fleshpots, and fleshpots went down that fast.

All I know is that the Hallifax side of the quest is (purported to be) super-simple; you just put the thingy in the thingy and watch the pretty lights. There was one error (using GIVE instead of PUT to one of the spheres) that put one of the fleshpot remnants out of commission, according to what I've heard.

The last point is what we presumed (having seen at least one organ in a sphere's inventory), and can't happen again.
There's more to it - Fraesic will explain it if you talk about Operation Crucible. (This was added as we couldn't find where in Hallifax a mob explained it)
(And good show to the people who've started bugging - new information! Woo. Useful stuff, at that.)

This I can reply to!
Tulemrah handed in the organs.
People there (based on LOOK of the first fleshpot):
Ethanae, Glevich, Donovain, Daera, Scax, Vladimere, Sahmiam, Faymar, Munsia, Marie, Solanis, Hyde, Liwase, Tylan, Halse, Tulemrah, Ixion, Rika, Estwald, Akyaevin, Razenth, and Cauthorn.
When Tulemrah went to check on Crucible he said the denizen said "To activate it, the aberrations of the Vortex need to be slain and their organs retrieved. These can be placed inside a corresponding sphere upon the Continuum. They are programmed to handle the rest" So we were expecting it to kick off.
Any other bugs you need filed we assumed are filed? It doesnt work but we cant give you much info beyond that. And I was told someone brought it up on envoys and 5 minutes later the fleshpots are redead so this seemed to be related.
If you need any other information, I still have the log of EVERY piece of the raid on every mob. So I can probably get you information.
YES I HAVE LOGS!

Honest congratulations on the first fleshpot kill.
That said, props to eventru for starchant: Fervoring the thread.
And no props for complaining that the bugs didn't cause the cards to fall in a way that resulted in total city defeat for a city with very few combatants left, who's skillsets/critical skills have beengutted, burnt, and kicked into the gutter to the point that no combatants want to touch them, the mage set in particular, by some of the worst envoy bullcrap ever to grace the game "balanced". And who's cosmic plane as been rated as largely indefensible under most circumstances. Especially compared to commune ether-fortresses. The disparity is pretty sick. (not that that last point mattered at all obviously in this situation, just wanted to bring it up again!)

I agree, I feel sort of bad for Gaudiguch... (Though I think they have excellent skills all around (I still maintain that Illuminati have the potential to be worse than monks), just not the people to use them).

So you'd rather have the admin hold Gaudiguch's hand? I'm sorry if envoys screwed you guys, but this has nothing at all to do with that. Downtrodden orgs don't get special protections. Bugs are bugs.

My only regret is that there weren't really any defenders to try to put up a fight, but then again, this has been standard Mag + player villages M.O. for a while now, so I'm not exactly surprised.

Magnagora is still waiting for the sweet sweet demonstration we were successful, but so far the bug has remained and not 1 jar has attacked anything at all.. we should have hours of fleshpots attacking without something being raised, but no, not what we are getting. And thats just

No one in the game sits down and says "We have a score of people ready for an Avatar raid, but there's no defenders, we'll wait until later." Or for a normal raid, really.

Yeah I know, I'm just bemoaning that I'd have liked to have been there for it.

Nope. I WOULD like to see their skillsets restored by the admin and given a better shake of things than what they got given by some piss poor envoying. Its one of the reasons, among several, that I left Gaudi this last december.
