Rulebook here

Nationalities:

Casilu- Russia(Purple)
Diamondais- Ottoman Empire(Yellow)
Rika- Italy(Green)
Ayisdra- Austria(Red)
Silferras- England(Blue)

CURRENT PHASE- Fall, Diplomacy Phase.

All diplomacy should occur within this thread, no private deals please. In ordinary play, all players would be able to theoretically hear what the other person was saying.

Orders should be PM'd to me by 8:00 PM EST, order resolution will occur at 10:00 PM along with a request for resolution of positioning should an army or fleet be force to retreat. On a fall turn, Army and Fleet creation or destruction will occur at 11:00 PM, pending information from the owners. You may include conditional statements (If army takes Marseilles, build army at rome) in your main orders. If any of these times are inconvenient to those playing, please just let me know.

Could you by chance post the rules again?
Unknown2011-04-17 19:03:07
Any chance you could convert the timezones to GMT instead?

I won't be up so early (7PM would be 8AM tomorrow morning for me), but I'll check in again when I get up!

It presents a bit of a difficulty to make it too late, but I can push things forwards a bit. 11:00 PM and 9:00 PM EST sound easier?
Casilu2011-04-17 19:15:45
I call bigotry, the Hallifaxi got Russia.

Whats the deadline for handing in decisions, because I can definitely say I'll be asleep for both times you've mentioned. tongue.gif

I can address anytime from 3 pm EST to 12 pm EST. So whatever works for everyone?

Alright, went through the rulebook and I think I understand how the game works.

Did you give Casilu Russia on purpose?
Unknown2011-04-17 21:37:45
No. Nationalities were determined by Random.org

Oh, and a question. Where does my northernmost navy start?

Saint Petersburg, so on the Gulf of Finland.
Casilu2011-04-17 22:53:07
Bah, not in the Barents?

No ma'am.

Anywho, as it's 7:14 EST here, I'm going to declare this game open for business. I'm not sure what the set-in-stone times will be yet, but if I change them (Presently they're going to be 10 & 8 PM EST to try and get a middle ground for Silferras and Diamonddais) I will extend, rather then shorten whatever turn it is. Try to get your orders in early, so that if there's a conflict I can reach people early rather then delay the game.

Go. Diplomacificate! Make deals, come to agreements, and arrange for advantageous situations from now untill the deadline tomorrow.
Casilu2011-04-17 23:48:13
Who wants to become one with me?

Anyway, between Ayisdra and Daimondais... how shall we three split up the valuable territories around the Black Sea. We don't want us all to waste a few turns fighting pointlessly, no?
Ayisdra2011-04-18 00:55:32
Forgive the noobie question(s):

So to win, we must be the last player standing?

This is done by having standoffs (believe that is the right word) and over powering the other teams?

What exactly is the small target shaped points?
-these are start points no? are they any use to players?

To win, we must control 18 supply centres.

They are the supply centres. At the end of each fall, every supply centre controlled by a player will allow them to support an army or fleet. If anyone has more or less units than supply centres at the end of fall, they will either have to remove or add units until the number of supply centres is equal to the number of units. Units can only be added at the supply centres in our original country.

Rika2011-04-18 01:37:48
Oh yeah, shouldn't my fleet be in Naples and not Venice?
Unknown2011-04-18 02:32:18
What do you mean? Your fleet has always been in Naples.
Everiine2011-04-18 02:42:03
Aww man, private deals were the best. sad.gif
Ayisdra2011-04-18 02:43:41
@Casilu: Unless I'm misunderstanding you (which is highly possible), I only see two valuable places. that is only two support spots. Unless you are seeing Armenia as the third.

Question at the mod: Dia's Army on the one side of Con. is she able to go to the other side of this territory, or does she need to use a fleet to do such or is the body of water between the two parts of Con. ignored as a body of water that is thing people most crossed or such?
