Spears require one hand but disallows the wielding of second weapon. You may wield a shield, magic tome or other object in the free hand without penalty. When a spear is used to JAB someone, it uses up arm balance on both arms. Jabs with spears deal cutting damage. SWING requires balance on only one arm, and deals blunt damage. RAZE uses one arm balance. Wielding a spear in either hand allows you to make attacks with both arms. The power attack uses both arm balances and counts as a jab.

Druids have three, monks and bards have two. Although druids and wiccans still don't have any unique skills and likely never will.

The shieldmaster thing seems a bit redundant. A warrior in fullplate AND with a shield could pretty much go without any parrying or stancing at all. Heartpierce is probably a bit weak if used by a two-hander. And yea, lets not start with los instas, I'm already no great fan of phantomspheres.

I don't think ranged instas or, generally, ranged fighting beyond what already exists is a can of worms I'd want to see opened.
(Actually, I'd love for timed instas to disappear completely.)

Do swings have (approximately) halved wounding/damage for being usable with one hand? If not, this would not only afford spear users additional protection without a trade-off, it would also make it possible to shieldstun/swing for full wounding and an extended stun.
The power attack costs 3 power, which is unusual, but I suppose the wounding and damage bonus could be adjusted accordingly.
The skillset lacks any means of producing a lock, yet the only wound-based kill is one that you basically need a lock for (disembowel).
I'm also not sure if the combination of abilities to pierce and break limbs in one skillset is of any use.

Spears would have the stats of a 1-handed weapon and do damage/wounding as a 1-handed weapon does. Jabs receive a bonus to bring them up to par with a jab from a 2-handed weapon.

Slitthroat and severnerve have been added in, replacing the piercelimb afflictions.
Removeheart is new effect similar to brainbash or behead. Optionally, it can produce hearts as a trophy item.
I still haven't come up with a new trans skill.

The monks and bards are a question of population iirc, their being released this year was only a maybe. Revitalizing old archetypes with new toys, probably not going to push back their release, like... at all.
