Back to Common Grounds.

Just to reiterate what Eventru said... the faster and bigger the playerbase grows will determine how soon we could open up new orgs (including guilds!).

Heh. They've been in events. Probably mentioned somewhere in event posts.

Some sun fae escaped once, and some wiccans from beyond the Basin came to get them back. I think that's when we got the Elder Wars book that talked about Sun being pseudo-tainted, and put to sleep for a thousand (or more) years.

It's been a while since we heard from Sun...

(I find it a nice twist that Sun, usually the sign of pure life and positive energy, is actually a Tainted or semi-warped entity.)

Next, the HBO series A song of Icewynd and Father Sun... *giggle*

Estarra2011-05-15 22:03:18
Ooops, my mistake. It wasn't a sun wiccan. It was a Sun Druid!

I was wondering if it was an event I'd missed or something, because I only remembered the sun druid. He was cool!

I never heard about a sun druid, I was going by the Event description here about Sun Fae.

http://www.ironrealms.com/game/news/Lusternia/Events/111

Was that druid part of this or another event?

Wow I forgot just how long ago that was.

Ah, okay. Sun Druid = Keeper of the Dawn. (I was part of that event for a little bit, but from the city side). Didn't put the connection together since I never saw the Druid in person.

cyro2011-05-15 23:27:14
I kinda think that the Sun Druid should come back. grin.gif

I liked that event!
Kalaneya2011-05-16 03:20:14
So Night/Crow, Moon/Hart, Lake/Bear....????/Sun?
Ileein2011-05-16 03:23:56
Lion, probably.
Unknown2011-05-16 03:37:39
Lions don't live in jungles, they live in savannah.
Llesvelt2011-05-16 03:41:19
But, Aslaran?

Jojoba?
Lehki2011-05-16 03:45:11
I've looked through the events posts but it's hard to remember the ones one that I wasn't around for, and that one Eventru linked was before I even started playing. ):

They live in Jojobo, according to the Elder Wars History. So I guess it's a jungle and a savanna?
Lilia2011-05-16 03:48:45
And Aslarn said that Sun and Lion were close.
Aithera2011-05-16 03:50:52
Lions can live in forests, although usually not... rainforest jungle ones.

But hey, it's Lusternia, why not?

I'm pretty sure it is Lion, although I don't remember where I read it.

From the Book of Aslarn:
QUOTE
Ah, back in the jungles of Jojobo, I watched Little Sun playing among the lions and gazelles, chasing one and then the other. I noticed the lions were becoming agitated by this mischief. I swept Little Sun up into my arms, because Great Lion Spirit was just beginning to take notice.

QUOTE
These great lovely cats created by Lorella of the Seventh were both gorgeous and arrogant, playful and terrifying, loyal and so full of pride. Oh, within the jungles there were many fine creations, some of the most artistic and creative works of the Seventh Circle could be seen in the many kinds of monkeys and florid birds, the long necked giraffes and graceful gazelles, the colourful boa constrictors and enormous elephants, but it was Lorella's great lovely cats that were my secret favorites.

QUOTE
The time finally came for me to bid goodbye once again to Great Lion and Little Sun and all the rest of the spirits and creations of Jojobo.

EDIT: Had to use http://old.lusternia.com because on the new site, every since History of the Elder Wars is broken except for the Book of Bollikin.
