The timing of the upload could have been a bit better. It's the construct change all over again.

It was actually great timing! I didn't realize there was a raid but we couldn't test the cosmic lords on the test server because not enough people were able to log in at once, so this was actually extremely fortuitous!

I'm a bit miffed that this buff included things like invasion mobs, but things can be worked out, and this seems pretty needed!

That's always something we can review (however their health only went up by ~25%, so not too much)

I understand you guys buffed all the cosmic/eth smobs, please don't do that. Avatars/DL's/Sups don't need more help, I assure you. Just localize it to pots and spheres, but the guardian mobs will need toning down with these changes IMO.

If you can take out the cosmic lords in under 5 minutes, then something is wrong. Before, we had seen all the supernals/demon lords fall in a matter of minutes which was one reason that prompted this overall change and that's what we are addressing on this specific change.

But you also have to consider the effort it takes to actually do kill them as well, short of the lovely offpeak raid.
You have to trudge through distort, shrines, discretionaries, and defenders to get to a mob that has guardian mobs which pile in, hits really hard, is defended by other smobs, self-heals, and room attacks every few attacks as a trigger.
The only way to actually succeed is to get them down quickly, heh. On top of this, while the strengths of the mobs have only gone up, the rewards for them have not gone up in proportion, remaining relatively the same. Now while I'm sure most people don't do it for the power and mostly for the e-peen, it would be nice to see a more significant gain for all this toil, at least for killing demonlords/avatars/supernals.

There's a huge increase in xp reward that's definitely gone up in proportion.

Eh, if people wanted to go bash things for xp, it's much easier and less of a hassle to just go bash astral or aetherbash. I don't think more experience is what people go there for. Plus demis already lose 2 mil a death in enemy territory.

The influencing change would only matter if you are getting "hit" back, no? So unless you lag (or are slow enough to not avoid counters (is that possible?)), I don't think it'd really be noticeable.

This probably affected amnesty influencing, which was already really hard on certain mobs for even the high end influencers. Is there any chance amnesty can be boosted a bit so it goes back to how it was?

I've heard a rumor that some races have such bad charisma, they think it's -normal- to get counter-attacks. How weird is that?
