They're rarely simple, and we all know it.

Do any of the following materials exist in Lusternia. If so, are they usable in designs, and if so on that one, what commodity would be used to replicate them?

Cobalt, Titanium, Brass, Tin, Aluminum, Bronze, Pewter and Resin.

Near as I can remember, for most metals if it doesn't specifically exist iron is the go to metal to substitute for it. Resin...I'm not sure. But the others I believe can be subbed by iron.

RGB are your best friends with tints. Bronze can be made by getting an orangish color of mixing tints, mixed with iron

Can't check, it's bugged.

I'm just advocating some caution. The closing of the thread without an explanation why is a bit weird and I'd advocate caution over doing just doing something to do it.

Fortune favors the bold.

Is reserved damage from DamageShift typed? In other words, does a killing blow from a fire attack store "fire damage", or does it just add untyped damage to the next attack and apply that attack's normal spread of sources.
Ssaliss2011-09-15 02:14:16
Hmm. Good question. If I were to guess (note, guess), I'd say that you deal damage, resistances shave off some/weaknesses add some damage, and then it's applied to the mob. If it's a critical hit, any damage that's more than would have killed it is stored (and is, at that point, already modified) and applied as raw damage on the next hit. This is a complete guess though, and more reflect how I suspect the code looks.

Pretend I'm a forum newbie for a minute here.

Can I make the forum show me search results as posts, by default, instead of having to go through advanced search options every time?

Also, why is Lack of Raves called Lack of Raves?
Razenth2011-09-15 03:02:10
It involves the naming of our rant thread from the long gone ranting board.

Noola, bless her sweet little heart, thought we needed a counterweight thread to balance it.

Don't know.

And presumably in response to Lack of Rants.

Also, why is Lack of Raves called Lack of Raves?

In the great long-ago, a young lad called, uh... let's call him "Mack", was sad that there was a distressing lack of nourishing tears in the (now defunct) Idiots subforum. (This was because Narsrim had been forum-banned for the umpteenth time, and without him waltzing around like a grim reaper/suicide bomber combo, people were actually happy for a change.) Disenfranchised and disappointed, he created a topic named "Lack of Rants", wherein people could vent minor woes not worth creating topics for, forming a run-off of lesser woe for him to dip his nose into like a water-starved horse. The topic blew up out of all proportion, people being whiny, self-obsessed little bitches at heart, and a much more cheerful forum-frequenting lass (let's call her "Moolah") decided to create a counterpart topic entitled "Lack of Raves" to balance our woefully lopsided collective karma. Sadly, the Idiots subforum was closed (due to an IRE-wide decision to tighten forum moderation) and my Mack's legacy was lost to the sands of time.
Razenth2011-09-15 03:16:50
Alas, poor Mack.

Nope, it's a forum default setting how the forum handles searching, the board admin will have to fiddle with the settings for it.

Does Temporary Insanity perpetuate Jinx?
Unknown2011-09-16 01:26:18
Yes.

Yes.

Follow up: Does each level in insanity count as an additional affliction when in regards to Jinx, or will temporary insanity at any level tap out at a 10% increase to failed actions?
Unknown2011-09-16 06:57:53
All temporary insanity counts as a single (hard to cure) mental affliction for the purposes of jinx. So does timewarp.

They all had a score of 0 (which is probably bugged), so they all won (which is probably another bug wrapped around with the first).
