I think that message is within 5 rooms, not necessarily in the area though. Check the edge of Balach and the Inner Sea, if you haven't. Also, there's a third island with scrumhogs.

That's just a message that comes up occasionally when you're in a room with miasma, I think.

The first four days only took about 10 mins - Toronada Flats, Caiogh...thingy Dell, Southern Mountains and the river near Delport. I didn't find yesterday's but after 3.5 hrs of looking my explorer rank jumped 50 places to Pioneer of the Unknown!
