19.4.7 AETHERGOOP

Aethergoop is a promotional feature available to players, which can be used to purchase a variety of items. Most of the items available are artifacts which are already available normally but often reskinned with new descriptions, but aethergoop-only items may pop up, as well!

In addition to purchasing brand new items, aethergoop may also be used to transform existing artifacts to reskinned versions at a much lower cost. Some aethergoop items can even be stored in your personal rift.

Aethergoop is normally gained as part of monthly sales promotions (which are announced via the Announce newsboard), but may also occasionally be obtained in-game as rewards for certain quests. 

Aethergoop is considered an OOC currency and may be transferred freely between your own characters. Bound Aethergoop is considered OOC, but it and anything created with it may not be transferred between your characters (this includes candies, scarves, and potions).

To purchase items with aethergoop use the ASHOP command.

The command to craft or transfer aethergoop is GOOP or AETHERGOOP, with the following options:

AETHERGOOP TRANSFER <amount> TO <person> FOR <gold>

*NOTE: There is a fee of 10 gold per aethergoop for transferring aethergoop to a player. If you transfer for 0 gold, then you MUST pay the ENTIRE fee; otherwise, you must include the fee in the total amount requested of the buyer.

  AETHERGOOP AMALGAMATE <potion>
  DRINK <potion>
  Note: Potions are riftable.

SPECIAL SYNTAX FOR COOKS:
  AETHERGOOP COOK <candy> PACK <1-100>

  GIVE <candy> TO <person>
  CANDY COMBINE <candy> <candy>
  CANDY SPLIT <candy>

SPECIAL SYNTAX FOR TAILORS:
  AETHERGOOP SEW <scarf> CHARGES <1-100>

  WHIP SCARF [HEAVY|FIRE] <target>
  SCARF LIST
  SCARF TRANSFER <scarf> TO <person> FOR <amount> <CREDITS|GOLD>
  SCARF COMBINE <scarf> <scarf>
