Changelog Entry #1 (Posted: 2011/12/15 17:49)
o A changelog has been implemented to announce small, frequent updates.

o Dementia will now only show a maximum of 20 demented items in a room.

o Fixed a typo in ordering entourages calm or passive.

o You can now SHOW BLEEDING.

o We have constructed some temporal barriers around the weft of time by
decree of Hallifax such that any problems with the new month/year code
should cause fewer problems to the Theater and Library contents.

o Choke will now fade properly at the conclusion of a Wargames event, if
both the choker and chokee leave the arena at the same time.

o Family honour gains/losses for Domoth attempts now work correctly (ie
you will no longer lose honour for trying to claim/hold a Domoth).

o The Artifact Scrying Mirror will no longer reveal the location of
visible Gods.

o You can no longer embed ANSI codes in news posts. Glomdoring was never
meant to be that colourful!

o Fixed a bug that would sometimes cause ally/enemy configured colour to
over-ride QW/WHO colour, even if the configured colour was unset.

o You will now see an appropriate message if you try to attack a denizen
while you are peaced.

o All cast and crew of a production may now go backstage.

o You can now communicate in many ways while enchanting next to a
pentagram.

o The Family Honour loss for wanton killing has been reduced by 75%.

o Stage 2 Domoth items will no longer spawn in indoors rooms.

o Some modifications have been made to the Avenger/aggression routines.
Nothing should have changed functionally, so please BUG if anything
seems to be different with regards to attacking or Avenger protection.

o Acrobatics Scissorflip will no longer consume endurance if there is
no-one in the room for you to target.

o All remaining tarot decks, runebags, and dreamcatchers have been
emptied. If they are in a person's inventory, the contents have been
transferred into their rift.

o Fixed a bug with enchanting.

o Family honour decay now occurs at the new year, rather than the new
month. A Great House must earn at least 1200 honour to avoid natural
decay, while a Lesser House need only reach 2/3 of that to avoid decay
(800).

o Manses and aetherships can now be deeded to families.

o The family with the largest manse or the largest aethership will
receive a small amount of honour each month. This will not count towards
avoiding natural decay.

o Members of Hallifax who fly using the power of their city construct
now have a unique message.

o Members of Lesser and Greater families may now check FAMILY
HOUSESTATUS to see if their house has generated enough honour to avoid
descending into obscurity for the current year.

o You can no longer follow a player into the skies or from the skies
while off balance or equilibrium.

o It is now possible to pick up items if you are flying and the target
object is at the flying elevation.

o You can now filter the rift output. IR <pat> or INFO RIFT <pat>. This
will also work with all other rifts (ILR <pat>, DL <pat> etc).

o Fixed a bug with choke not clearing properly if one of the people
involved dies.

o You can now LIGHT PIPES to light all of your pipes which contain herbs
simultaneously. They will also extinguish simultaneously.

o The message for smoking a pipe now shows the specific pipe being
smoked.

o Smoking a pipe after it has been lit by LIGHT PIPES will separate it
from the group (ie it will go out by itself). Doing LIGHT PIPES again
will consolidate it.

o Dreambodies can no longer have healing scrolls read to them.

o People wearing Marauder's Masks will now show up on QW as their race.

o Origami charms no longer refresh aetherwill when they expire.

o It is no longer possible to check OLDSTAT while wearing the Marauder's
Mask.

o You can now SHOWCLTELL <num>.

o Any existing tinderboxes that are somehow set not to decay will decay
7 RL days from now.

o Any existing dreamcatchers, runebags and tarot decks that do not decay
will decay in 100 RL days. New dreamcatchers, runebags and tarot decks
will have a decay time of approximately 100 RL days.

o Houses of Blood will gain 10% more honour from holding the largest
aethership. Houses of Culture or Letters will gain 10% more honour from
holding the largest manse.

o You cannot check tell history for organisations if you are flying
through aetherspace or in an aetherbubble.

o If you beg from a solstice gnome, and have already received a present
this hour, you will not receive a present and the gnome will move to
give someone else a chance to find it. Let's share the love this

chronological order - the most recent at the top, the oldest at the
bottom.

o The DM command has been removed - please use DELMSG <num> instead.

o Members of families may now check the FAMILY DEEDS.

o Roxie's golem (part of the Aetherspace epic chain) has been given a
thorough once-over and should now work as intended.

o Phantasms PhantomWalls will require declarations before they affect a
target.

o You can now view org tell history if you are on an aethership and
planarbonded or have Ascendance Omniscience active.

o You can now BLOWGUN SHOOT/AIM with poisons in the liquid rift.

o Shadowbeat's WidowsMercy will now cause less damage to attacks that
have multiple damage hits (ie one-handed warriors and kata forms).

o The 'web' enchantment is now known as the 'webbing' enchantment. This
fixes a few conflicts between items enchanted with the 'web' spell, and
items that are webs.

o If you type CITY/COMMUNE FORGIVE SHOP TAXES <shop> without specifying
an amount, you will forgive all of their owed taxes.

o Fixed a typo with racial adjectives.

o Fixed a problem with requesting a new hound if you have one from a
previous city or commune.

o Blackout will now supercede recklessness when reporting GMCP stats -

o Beseeching your God for Invasion will no longer consume essence if the

o Esteem achievements are now tracked cumulatively. Your current count
will show up in ACHIEVEMENT STATS.

o Fixed a bug with editing files that could cause an untrapped error if

o Modified the GMCP Char.Vitals package so that it sends less extraneous
information. At times it was sending three or four full listings for
every prompt.

o Most Char.Vitals packages will now only send information that has
recently changed. The exclusion to this is the prompt, which will still
send all the information available.

o Corrected a bug with Shamanism Freeze that was requiring too low a
temperature.

o Trancing for a vision in a certain slot will no longer be cancelled if
you try to trance for the same vision in the same slot.

SKY.

o Shivering will no longer affect souls.

o You can no longer create quicksand at any elevation other than ground.

o Fixed a bug with Healing Regeneration when used on another player.

o Fixed a bug with Shamanism Bloom that was causing
health/mana/bromide/sparkleberries to be too strong.

o Fires will now properly extinguish in watery rooms.

o Demesne systems will be less susceptible to natural weather changes.

o Fixed an untrapped error with Shamanism's ENVISION LAND.

o Shamanism Pressure and Shamanism Frogs are no longer tied to the
ground elevation.

o Slightly decreased the stun on Shamanism's ENVISION CLAW.

o Fixed some miscellaneous bugs with manipulating weather over its
natural boundaries.

o When manipulating the weather, power will only be consumed if the
attempt was successful.

o You can now manipulate weather with a multiplying factor. The power
cost rises in a linear fashion, but the mana and willpower cost will
rise exponentially.

o Shamanism Golems and Shamanism Snowmen inside arenas will be destroyed
when their owner is kicked out of the arena.

o The effects of cold weather will now be diminished by your warmth
factor, which is determined by the clothes you wear.

o Hunting Camouflage now works in polar environments.

o You can now check TRANCES to see your current, active trances
(although they also show up in DEFS).

o Shamanism's ENVISION SKY will no longer go through Night Brumetower.

o Arenas now have static weather systems. They cannot be manipulated,
and they will now vary, but this will allow Shamans to create demesne
weather systems for combat training purposes.

o Fixed a bug that stopped the Brooch of the Tempest preventing being
knocked about by high winds while flying.

o Shamanism Quicksand will now only affect people on the ground

room.

o Shamanism's snowmen and root golems are now healthier.

o Natural weather hailstones will no longer go through magical shields.

o Weather will no longer be able to start fires indoors.

o You can no longer join an arena event while already in an arena.

o Fixed a bug with observing in heavy weather.

o Fixed some issues with priorities when probing/looking inside replicas
in heavy weather.

o FIxed a typo with Illusion Changeself and Marauder's Mask.
