The Twisting Weaves of the Three Sisters

As the three Sisters of Fate wove the threads of the Great Tapestry in
days past, so did they weave what was to come - the Verses of Magnora
returned to the Basin of Life once more, one by one, finding their way
to the Glomdoring, Serenwilde, New Celest and Magnagora. One by one they
appeared, and one by one they were translated - prophesies that told of
the events that had happened, and of dark times to come - and the sole
means of salvation. With the Enigma gone, many of the Elder Gods were
searching for ways to find any trace of Him, while others sought to
usurp His place in the hearts of mortals and claim them for Their own.
It was the Supernal Raziela's scream that had alerted Celest to the
nightmare that had, with little warning, suddenly been sprang upon them:
nightmarish creatures, composed entirely of flesh and eyes, began to
bubble up from the sands of Celestia. Upon Nil, the frenzied cries of
the demonic hordes told Magnagora that they, too, were under assault.
Together the cities repulsed the creatures time and time again, often
clashing with the Glomdoring, who had come to investigate for their own
curiosity, and to meet the cities in combat.
Days would pass again, and combat would be rejoined - this time upon the
Elemental Planes of Earth and Water. More of the creatures would flood
the planes, attacking everything in sight. Convinced it was the work of
the Soulless - undoubtedly, they said to one another, the Silent One
known as Zenos - the various cities and communes sought out ways by
which to stem the tide of attacks. Free of attacks upon the Ethereal
Realm, the Glomdoring set to work collecting the verses as they could
find them, while Celest, Serenwilde and Magnagora worked together to
fight the creatures that manifested, as well as collecting and
translating the Verses of Magnora.
It was the horrific cries of Seela Mooneye in New Celest, of Noth
Iborchi in the Glomdoring, of Indiau Eepex in Magnagora and Charestu
Thech in the Serenwilde Forest that alerted the people of the Basin of
Life of a horrific tragedy that had occured, and all tales were eerily
similiar: Crystal beasts were attacking their home! Indeed, as they
discovered upon arriving, golems of red crystal were destroying the Mesa
Compound and Nomad Camp, their inhabitants mostly sprawled about in a
blood-soaked, macabre slaughter, a few still fighting for their lives.
All witnesses said the same - they came from rifts out in the Skarch.
Familiar with the creatures he surveyed, now broken and inoperable,
Xenthos An'Ryshe and several of his companions sought out the Laboratory
of Xyl, known as the Xion Facility in Aetherspace. As they passed
through the aetherdock and into the ancient workshop in which the Elder
God Xyl performed His elemental experiments, they were met by an
unpleasant surprise - a force had invaded, and it was no more friendly
than the security system that normally walked the halls.
