I just noticed that a few astral nodes are hovering around empty. The
way astral nodes work is that the more power they have, the faster they
fill. So draining an astral node to empty will cause it to slowly
recharge whereas draining it to its half-way point will cause it to
regenerate faster (and thus produce more energy over the long-term). You
can tell how full an astral node is by looking at it. Anyway, it's your
collective choice on how to treat these nodes but thought I'd share how
they work.
