Summonings

Cities and villages, tired of thugs summoning known enemies into their
midsts, have recently erected a new magical defence for their
perimeters. This will block all attempts to summon an enemy into their
territories. In other news, Lusternia's enchanters have found a way to
make enhanced monolith sigils. The monolith sigils they now make should
stop planar summoning if a monolith is dropped into the room of the
target before the spell completes. (Previously once the spell started, a
monolith was powerless to stop it.) It seems that this increase in
anti-summoning magics in realm has caused planar summonings in general
to weaken, and they now take longer to complete.
