- The gold cost of creating new books has been greatly decreased.
- Books no longer have to be sealed for a bookbinder to copy them.
- Certain types of books pay out royalties to the authors as follows:
- Books and compendiums pay 5% royalties to the author.
- Manuals and codexes pay 10% royalties to the author.
- Tomes and omnibuses pay out 15% royalties to the author.
