Recently I was informed by means of an issue that the Celest library had
put forth a book that was a compilation of works that were already in
the Celestian library. I sincerely hope that I do not have to point out
that this is considered abuse of the system, and I am quite frankly
quite astonished that this was not checked with administration first
before moving into action.
Needless to say, the book has been removed. I have no wish to see this
repeated, should this happen again there will be further consequences
than merely the removal of the work from the Library.
This aside, the book also stated the reasoning behind doing this, and I
partially understand the desire of the librarian to have said works
replaced. However, simply publishing another book with exactly the same
works in is not the way to do this. If in future any city librarian
wishes to replace earlier books in a different format and can provide me
with an extremely good argument on why this should be so they may
contact me. Though please note that I will not touch the libraries
unless you have a -very- good reason. Once something is published it is
there to stay.
