Nexus Worlds

The following updates have been made to Nexus World battles:

+ The Bombard skill in Combateer has been lowered in the skillset.
+ The Bombard skill will do room-wide damage.

+ There is a new mid-level Artisan skill: Beacons, which allow them to
CONSTRUCT a BEACON miniature.
+ These beacons will allow an enemy force to establish a homing point on
a Nexus World which they can teleport to via TELEPORT BEACON.
+ Beacons are considered colossi for the purposes of attacking them
through constructs and bombardment, though they are much weaker.
+ Beacons cannot be operated or entered.

+ The time that a construct is disabled due to a mini-weakening is
doubled.

+ There are now clear signs for the observant in a city/commune the day
before a Nexus World weakening occurs.

+ Constructs can now move similarly to colossi.
+ Movement is more rapid.
+ You can move out of a room with a construct/colossus, but not into a
nexus object.
+ People focused negative on a construct will lag its movement, the
effect depending on the number of people focusing.
+ The above effect is mitigated by people focusing positive, but note
that a greater positive focus does not increase movement speed beyond
the standard.

+ I fixed a bug where everyone focusing, regardless of their target
construct, was affecting damage.

+ Constructs no longer generate positive power over time, but their
drain can be reduced by up to 80% after 30 Lusternian months.

These are pre-cursor changes to larger system improvements we hope to
implement to Nexus World battles in the near future. These have been
implemented first so that we can gauge their consequences and adjust as
necessary. Overall, we are going to try to make participation in Nexus
World battles more interesting and rewarding for both the attackers and
the defenders.

In unrelated news, the new SCORE and QSC commands are implemented! Note
that you can configure the colours via CONFIG COLOUR. The old score, for
those who prefer it, is accessible via OLDSCORE.

Enjoy!
