The Source of the Well of Souls, Part II

As the combined forces of Serenwilde, Glomdoring and a sprinkling of
warriors of New Celest surged into the Caoimhe Dell and Wydyr Glade,
Magnagora was soon beaten back, soundly trounced as they were thrown
from the resting place of the Twin Springs.

With one more obstacle out of the way, the Communes began to turn their
attention to what mattered - restoring the Well of Souls. It was soon
learned, however, not just anyone could do it - only those blood
descendants of Ellindel Treeheart herself could bless the Twin Springs,
or handle their most pure waters without endangering themselves or the
waters. After much coaxing and the coming of the Full Moon, Jaryn
Treeheart finally stepped up to perform his duties, to water the
nightshade plant, and bless the Twin Springs.

It was the Moondancer Kielo who Jaryn took into his deepest confidence,
revealing his newfound affection and admiration for the dark slaugh who
lives within the Wydyr Glade. Refusing to bless the Twin Springs until
he and and Rhianna had met, the Serenwilde and Glomdoring began
delivering letters and fashioning charms for the two, and as they went,
began to worry for the fate of the two. Believing Rhianna Shee-Slaugh,
said to be the most beautiful of all Fae, surprassing even her mother
Lhiannan, solely desired to escape Wydyr, attempted to forewarn Radella,
though it came to not, for she believed it unlikely.

As Xiel of the Spiritsingers and Galaphyrae of the Moondancers began to
whittle away at the Springs guardians, Kielo and the Serenwilde
continued to debate as to whether ot not to help. Though soon their
efforts came to fruition and, faking her death, Rhianna Shee-Slaugh
escaped to Caoimhe Dell. Though his Uncle was harmed in their escape,
the question lingered as to the fate of the Well of Souls.

Newly charged with Rhianna's companion, Arco, the Hound of Papaxi, Kielo
soon discovered the extent of the blink hound's strange powers, told to
him by Maeve of the Fae. Many days would pass, before anything would be
amiss - though all, Maeve included, hoped nothing more would be amiss.

Fifteen days passed from the lover's departure, before the Well of Souls
suddenly ran dry. Hearing the upset reactions of the fae, Galaphyrae,
Urazial and Xenthos came to find Queen Maeve peering into the Well of
Souls, finally coming to a decision. With a brief series of
instructions, Maeve returned to her tree, awaiting the Serenwilde and
Glomdoring to finish. As they drew to a close, Maeve held up an
enchanted mirror and, with a heavy sigh, shattered it with a magical
horn.

Her spell cast, Jaryn and Rhianna returned to the Caoimhe Dell and Wydyr
Glade, having forgotten the events of the past few months entirely, as
had all who dwelt near and around the Twin Springs.

And so the lovers Jaryn Treeheart and Rhianna Shee-Slaugh, last of
Ellindel's Line and the most beautiful of Night's fae, met and were
seperated. Yet the question was on the lips of those who witnessed - how
powerful was Maeve's spell, and will true love shine through it after
all?
