It started in New Celest, where a group of citizens began investigating
how the old imperial city was able to raise a shield of light to protect
it during the Taint. Many of the citizens helped in these
investigations, with Shiri, Rhysus, Elayna, Lyren, Vesar, Shiro, and
Elaeni, among many others, at the forefront of the action. As the days
passed and their research continued, one of the otherwise inactive
beacons from around New Celest shot a beam of light high above the city.
Apparently, their research bore fruit! As the entire citizenship of New
Celest mobilized to help, another beam of light was seen, and another,
and another, until nine beams met in the air, creating the Star of
Celest high above the city.

As the months passed, a new religious fervor swept the people of New
Celest as Celestines, Paladins and Aquamancers were seen to frequently
lead congregations to the places of worship to the Holy Supernals. At
the apex of this spectacle of faith and devotion, the Star of Celest
shown brighter in the sky until it released a dome of light that covered
New Celest. Success! What knowledge was lost from the old imperial days
has been recovered!

The Pool of Stars sparkles ever brighter now as congregations continue
to flock to worship the Light. And the Star of Celest remains
perpetually above its charge, a guiding light to the faithful.
