I honestly don't know what to say to that, cause I'm not any sort of professional, but... well... hug.gif

Thanx Noola, any sort of reply is fine, I'm just not feeling all there tonight. Heh, professionals. All THEY have guaranteed me is difficulty in working in my dream job (CERN supercolider) unless I can get the one official attempt removed from my medical record. woot tongue.gif In my job application, should I put "ambition to blow up the world since age 14" or not? tongue.gif Ahh yes, there we go, absurdity challenges the nihilistic and reduces my negative emotions to a collection of meaningless platitudes and weightless statements. Only had to wait it out. I think, I may attempt to sleep now and wake up with a less charged outlook.

Sorry everyone, I've been struggling with depression again the last 9 months. It is occassionally besting me, again.

Hey, most people in the world have depression at some point or another, we know what you're going through. We just want to see you well. smile.gif

Ugh, had thought I had a biology exam today, actually had Mechanics which was SUPER important but I thought I had another week of revision so hadn't gotten into it as much as I should have, I'll be lucky to score 60% on that...
Dysolis2010-06-19 01:35:03

I can't complete the password recovery form for this forum, because I didn't fill in the password field.

Really?

Are you sure that's not the new password you want it to be set to?

heh, tried to kill myself 5 times between July 2000 and July 2003. Odd how suicidal depression never really goes away. Lurking in the background like an insidious wallpaper seeping into the desktop icons of life like an overzealous dye. I've done so well for over 5 years, but it's always been there and right now I want to die. How liberating is it to know what will grant you freedom, while acknowledging at the same time the shackles of human timidity and the denial of the means to that freedom? Yet ironically it's the fear of pain that denies me freedom from pain just as it always has done. Just as ironically, this very post will contribute towards the widening of the interpersonal distance that contributes toward my emotional isolation even as it reaches out vainly in a pathetic attempt to bridge that self same gap. Ohhh life, how you mock me. Let me not be.

The relief you seek is a feeling. You have to be alive to feel it; you won't feel it if you are dead.

You most likely realize that, but please keep it in mind. And you never have to carry this kind of emotional burden alone. comfort.gif

Uhm, just to say I'm fine and thanks for the replies. I drank too much last night and drink + depression is never a good thing. Stopping drinking too much was one of the major things I changed in 2004. But I still drink socially and last night I overdid it which was a stupid idea with the way I've been feeling lately. In the light of day I'm not entirely sure I wanted to share my history so openly, but nevermind.

Map update coming soon.

Wanna borrow my chainsaw? smile.gif

(Though it won't help, I only have an electric.)

You're totally screwed when the Zombie Apocalypse arrives.

Just get a generator with wheels, drag it along behind you. confused.gif

Also, Meliana should get a generator. Last time our power went out, we started up the generator so we wouldn't miss survivor. freaked.gif

I'm already screwed then. My house is nicely out in the woods which is good, and I've got enough food here to last several months, and a backup generator. But it's also got no less than eight entry points, most of them glass doors; and another eleven windows at a height a zombie could easily break and crawl through. So it's completely indefensible. And I've got nothing more powerful than a crossbow to fight them off with.

You have eight entry points - most of them glass - and you don't own a firearm? Man... I must be more paranoid than I thought.

That depends. Was that bachelor party your bachelor party? You don't need to be the fastest thing on Earth, just faster than the nearest tasty morsel. You could set a trap with human bait and pick them off with a homemade flamethrower. If they catch you by surprise, you can trip her and run.
Casilu2010-06-20 02:09:46
Why are you so far away, Lendren? We could totally trade. My family's house has no food nearby, but I think I have enough guns and ammo to wage a small war.

My thoughts exactly but that is just the military tactician coming out of me.

Andddd you'd probably would have a firearm holstered under or with-in arms reach of every two entry points tongue.gif

I will take a couple of mean looking dogs over a firearm any day.
